Discovering 7Sage breathed new life into his learning process by providing clear explanations of important LSAT concepts, a roadmap for studying, and amazing tools for growth, like blind review. When working with students, Tad emphasizes mastering the fundamentals underlying the test rather than trying to rely on gimmicks and encourages his students to grow in their confidence by creating a comfortable learning environment. When he’s not tutoring, Tad enjoys CrossFit, video games, weekly trivia, and poker.

Ardaschir Arguelles
Tutor | 180
Ardaschir’s initial approach to Logic Games involved a good deal of crossing his fingers and hoping for the best. While studying for the LSAT in earnest, he took a practice test every week and in so doing found himself developing a personal language for Logic Games and Logical Reasoning that allowed him to get the better of the test. He sees that as the goal of the tutoring process—to become familiar enough with the test that the concepts become instinctive, things you can formulate to yourself in terms you understand. That process takes time and effort, but with the right guidance it can also be enjoyable and fulfilling.

Humza’s LSAT journey involved plenty of trial and error and countless hours watching 7Sage Games explanations on 2x speed (he is sad to see Games go). After his LSAT and becoming known as the “LSAT guy” around his friend group on campus, he decided to go into helping people with the test more formally as he knows how stressful it can be! As a philosophy major, he is probably more passionate about formal logic and valid arguments than any rational person should be. He loves helping people have breakthroughs on these topics, which can be very intimidating at first.

Ryan has taught the LSAT for the last six years. He graduated summa cum laude from Texas State University, studying psychology and geology. Geology has come up on the LSAT a few times, and the extra knowledge in the subject always made those questions and passages easier.

Forest Edward Dearing
Tutor | 173
As someone who did not score particularly high on his first diagnostic, Forest understands how daunting the LSAT can seem especially when initial improvement is followed by a scoring plateau. Fortunately, through self-study with 7Sage and after many LSAT prep tests, he was able to raise his score 26 points. Because mastery of the LSAT took time, he understands the unique starting points that every student has and tailors his approach to their individual learning style while still emphasizing the same core concepts––understanding of argument structure, logic of causation, conditional reasoning, and the ability to make inferences––which must be mastered to achieve success. Forest is excited to continue helping students gain mastery over what he knows is a very learnable test. In his free time, Forest enjoys running, reading non-law books, and cooking.
