I have heard that a sample of the test is released 90 days before you are suppose to take the exam. Is this true? If so, how do you access it? I am already registered for the September 2018 LSAT.

Are you talking about the most recent practice test? If so, you can purchase it through 7sage or Amazon when it's released.
I took it twice and have not heard of such a thing.
The June 2009 test is free and attached below.

I have not heard of this either. I would have done much better if this were true...
