Why is LSAT Flex score conversion so much lower than the exam?

I was excited to get a 170 (-1 LR, -2 LR, -5 LG, -4 RC) on Preptest 79 but got bummed out seeing that with the LSAT Flex converter the score fell to 167-168. I haven't experienced this kind of discrepancy between LSAT and LSAT Flex with any other PTs.

Why is this the case? Can I still "count" the score as a 170 despite the score conversion?

    No, you can't count It as a 170. The flex won't allow your second LR to cover for your logic games and reading scores, because the second LR does not exist. Instead of LR being worth 50%, now it's only worth 30ish%, and reading is worth the most. I had the same problem at first, because I struggled with reading, and it's weight has gone up!
