Group for Discussing and Reviewing Personal Statements

Hi All,

I'm writing to ask for support if anyone is aware of a group chat (forum, discord etc) where people help review eachother's personal statements and other essays? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I definitely want a sanity check from people who are also going through the process and I don't know if I can shell out for a full on consultation process. I would be willing to also give back to the community and not take from it haha.

Or if people are looking for buddies to do this let me know, doesnt have to be an entire group.

    I also would be willing to read yours over and share mine.

    I will also say that the Deans of Admissions at Yale and Harvard had a podcast series called Navigating Law School Admissions with Miriam and Kristi with relevant episodes. I listened to one episode called "Nailing The Personal Statement" that featured an admissions dean at UT Austin and took a good deal of useful insights that I parsed through my rough draft with. They Additionally had a four part series called "Getting Personal with Personal Statements" where they gave you a personal statement to look at while they evaluated it with an admissions dean at Brooklyn Law School. All of these gave me a far better understanding of what a good statement looked like than I had previously. Not sure if this is useful or not.
