Hey everyone,

We are shutting down this site, classic.7sage.com, at 6 p.m. ET on December 31, 2025. In order to keep using 7Sage, you must create a new account on the new site before the deadline.

Follow these steps:

  1. Create a new free account here: 7sage.com/users/register. Use the same email you used for your classic 7Sage account.
  2. If you have a paid account, transfer your subscription here: 7sage.com/users/settings/billing. You will be charged a pro-rated adjustment to extend your subscription to a month from today, then you will pay the normal subscription fee every month. You won't be double-charged.
  3. Transfer your practice history and analytics here: 7sage.com/users/settings/import. Click "Import from Classic 7Sage." You can transfer lesson progress by checking off completed lessons in the new syllabus.

Note: Your priorities may look different on the new site because we have improved our analytics engine, taking drills into account among other changes.

The new website has many more improvements, including a much smarter study scheduler, a more convenient blind-review flow, better explanations, and a more flexible driller. We encourage you to switch today!

How would we calculate how much will be charged between the old and new renewal dates? Is it calculated based on the number of hours or days that we use the site between that time? Please let me know, thank you!

    Hi @pranda-6

What transferring your billing does is push back the next date on which you’ll be billed again. You’re charged a prorated fee based on the number of extra days added to your subscription when that billing date is pushed back.

For example, let’s say you last paid on November 9. That payment would cover you through December 9. If you transfer today, December 1, your new next billing date becomes January 1.

The prorated fee covers the extra days between December 9 (the original next billing date) and January 1 (the new next billing date).

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

when i transfer my practice history and analytics, will it keep track of how many times I took a certain question? not just that the question has been taken in general?

also, this will transfer questions I've taken via drills right?

and one more question, will it transfer over the dates I took certain PTs? this is important for me in tracking.

Yes — when you transfer your practice history and analytics, it will keep track of how many times you’ve taken each question, not just whether you took it. You can view that here: https://7sage.com/review/questions. The new site will also show the dates for each attempt.

And yes, this includes questions you’ve done through the 3-digit Drills.

As for your PrepTests, the dates you took each PT will transfer over as well.

I am still having a hard time logging in to the new. It says that my email is already in use. Is there someone I can contact?

Hi! I've tried switching several times to the new account using the same email as I have for the old account, but to no avail. Every time I check my inbox/spam/trash, there are no emails from 7sage with a magic code link. Any ideas on what else to try? Thanks so much!

I can't seem to find the .png version of the questions on the new site. That was helpful for me in transferring questions to my wrong answer journal. Will that feature simply be discontinued?

    Hi there,

Great question—you’re right that the .png version of questions is no longer available on the new site, and that feature has been discontinued.

That said, the new site is designed to make keeping a Wrong Answer Journal (WAJ) much easier within 7Sage, so you no longer need to export questions or do your WAJ outside the platform.

Here are a couple of easier options on the new site:

    1. During Blind Review or Review mode:
Click the Notes button in the upper-right corner of the screen and select the WAJ template, as shown in the Loom video here: https://www.loom.com/share/6bca19db6b254a08a7e1ec571fc74ffc

    2. After completing a PrepTest or drill:
Go to your Review results, then click the Notes icon for any question to add it directly to your Wrong Answer Journal.
    image

This way, everything stays organized in one place, and you don’t need screenshots or PNG files anymore.

Feel free to let us know if you have any questions!

I am having an issue linking my new account to LawHub. When I try it says "This coach is linked to this account" and I cannot access all of the prep tests on the new site. How do I go about unlinking this account?

    Hi @rishikak10

I’ve applied a fix to your account, and your LawHub Advantage subscription is now correctly synced with your account on the new site. You might need to refresh your page for the update to take effect.

If you run into any other issues or have questions, feel free to reach out to studentservice@7sage.com. Happy studying!

@natemanwell1, Our new site focuses on the current-format PrepTests released by LSAC (PT101 to PT159). Unfortunately, most of the older PrepTests are not supported in the digital tester on the new site since they’re now considered obsolete—and LSAC will be removing them in the near future.

That said, we currently have 16 of the obsolete PTs in the digital tester on the new site- you'll find them below the current PTs on the PrepTest page. You can enable them for drills, sections, or full tests in the Bonus PrepTests section of your PrepTest Pool. Once toggled on, they’ll be available for practice on the site.

Hello, will the new site allow the same type of drill sets as the Classic site? In other words, can I still make a drill set that includes every question of a certain type?

And if not, is there a way to import my drill sets from Classic?

Yes—on the new site, you can still create drills that include questions of a specific type, just like on the Classic site. You can set this up directly from the Drilling page by selecting the tags (or question types) you want and building the drill accordingly.

As for importing your existing data: You can import your 3-digit PrepTests and Drill data from the Classic site using our one-click import tool here:

Please note that this import only applies to 3-digit (new-format) PrepTests and drills. The Blind Review is not included.

Thanks for your reply! The drill feature on the new site seems to only allow 52 questions in a set, rather than every question of a type.

I suppose i could make a bunch of 52-question sets, but then these sets will include some of the same questions in each, unless there's a way to isolate a range of tests.

When i attempt to import my drill sets from Classic, I receive the following prompt: "There are no PrepTests or Drills eligible for import on your Classic 7Sage account."

On the new site, you can still create drill sets with every question of a certain type. You have two options:

    1) Use the “Unlimited” number of questions feature when creating a drill set to include all questions of a type.
    image

Please note that you can check off all PrepTests in your drilling pool here: https://7sage.com/users/settings/preptests if you want to include literally every question. Note that doing this may result in repeated questions when taking full PrepTests.

    2) Select questions manually to create a custom set. (See the sample GIF below.)
    image

Regarding your import issue: only completed 3-digit PrepTests (PTs 101–158) and drills can be transferred from Classic. If your drill sets are from 2-digit PrepTests (PTs 1–94) or haven’t been completed yet, they won’t be eligible.

We’ve made the difficult decision to discontinue support for the Law School Explained resources. The classic Law School site will be closing on December 31, 2025, and this content will not be migrating to the new 7Sage platform.

While we may explore ways to bring law school–focused content to the new site in the future, there are no confirmed plans at this time.

Feel free to let us know if you have any questions!
