Can someone explain this AC?

Can someone expand and maybe give an example of the AC "offering an alternate explanation of the correlation cited"

This guy always falls asleep with his shoes on and wakes up with a headache. From this I conclude that wearing shoes to sleep causes a headache.

Nah bro, he drinks a lot which causes him to pass out and experience hangovers. That's why he falls asleep with his shoes on and wakes up with a headache.

I just gave an alternative explanation for the correlation of this dude falling asleep with shoes on and waking up with a headache.

    To expand,

    A is correlated with B therefore A caused B

    To which we say
Nah it was actually C dude.
