  • Of course you'll improve by September if you study. The more important question is how much will you improve. What's your target score? If you're aiming for a 170+, you'd probably want to consider postponing.
  • As someone who use to actively read The Economist from front to cover, I don't know why it is suggested for RC. I don't think you should be looking to alternative passages until you've completed all the RC passages.
  • @"Cant Get Right" said: Do a timed test--PT 36--and use that to determine where to go next. You'll likely need to quit PTing for a few weeks to address many issues it will reveal, but I think it's good to take a test post CC. I elaborate a lot…
  • Disclaimer: I’m not scoring higher than you and I’m fairly new to studying for the LSAT My thoughts: - You’re in a great position. - Slow down with the number of tests you’re taking. 5 seems kind of heavy. - You may want to consider reviewing qu…
  • There is no benefit, for you, to be thinking about this. You can't change what school you went to, and this isn't something big enough to discourage you from applying anywhere. My guess would be most schools don't care. They are interested in you as…
  • @stepharizona said: Manhattan prep has a bunch they've created you can google. Thanks for sharing. I wasn't aware of that.
  • Dave stopped taking it after 2013, so I was curious whether he was discouraged or just didn't feel like it. Dave Hall's scores and Robin Singh's scores have me convinced that the distinction between a 176 and a 180 is meaningless.

  • You don't. All you can know is whether or not you're scoring in a range you're happy with.
  • You have no issue with diagramming, but you have problems with making inferences? Is that right, or did I misunderstand you? How many games have you completed? > @bensuth25 said: No I cant set the games up well. I am good at inferences. Ye…

  • Too many factors to give a meaningful answer. Depends on what your undergraduate experience was like.

  • Which PT did you take? 1-35 are used in drilling. Start at 36 for fresh questions.
  • Besides individual preference, I think time is a universal factor. If you have plenty of time, then I would say go ahead and review every question.
  • @mmowrer said: Doesn't LSAC wait to generate your report until your LSAT score is in? Or am I just crazy and imagining that? Not sure about an entire report, but not for GPA. I just sent in my transcripts and I haven't taken the lsat. I have…
  • Did you try googling the question?

  • "After you pay for CAS, your account will remain active for five years. The CAS fee is currently $185 and includes transcript summarization (as well as authentication and evaluation of academic records for internationally educated JD applicants, if…
  • Going to hold off on the tutoring. I'm in a big city so I think there is an abundance of tutors. I found a handful of tutors for $30-$50 an hour that claimed scores above 170. I found some of them on LinkedIn and was able to verify some of the claim…

  • Do you have multiple institutions listed? If so, have all of those transcripts been processed?
  • From what I've heard/read, you shouldn't be attending a school for their IP program. You should be attending a school based on their overall ranking (e.g. T14 school). Assuming you aren't a URM, you have a good shot at Santa Clara and Houston. I th…
  • Yeah as Alex pointed out, most international students are not eligible for fee waivers. Having to spend roughly 6% of the GDP per capita of your country on the exam sucks.

  • Why can't they have a proctor display the time digitally in a spot where all the test takers can see? Splitting hairs on watches is ridiculous.

  • Thanks for the replies. While I do agree that much of the speed reading market is filled with self-proclaimed gurus with a drink the kool-aid attitude, I do not believe all speed reading is a gimmick. Peter Kump, the author of Breakthrough Rapid Re…

  • I believe that depends on the problem type. Can you be more specific about the section/type of problem?
  • I signed up for it because I wanted to get the test experience. I wouldn't mind a test from 1-35. I'm happy to hear it is a fresh test. Do we get more time on the digital version? It's no secret that, on average, reading on electronics is slower.
  • Do you have problems printing other documents?
  • I think you'd be cutting it really close for December. When are transcripts updated at your school? Just because the grades are released doesn't mean the registrar has had time to reflect the update. Then you have to consider how long it'll take for…
  • "I have a really big pool of past exams to study from so it's not really an issue in my opinion" Not sure how that justifies untimed practice. Attempt the problems timed, and then review them untimed before grading. Yes it takes longer, but it give…
