I try to get some time between retakes between specific tests. Roughly 26-30 days unless I have 3 days in a row off work or excess free time... I take a test every 2 days and have been doing so since I finished the 7sage curriculum. Whenever I feel …
I literally took 3 regular fresh test after retaking tests 65-71... I averaged over a 175 on the retakes which I took with a grain of salt. I took 3 fresh tests and scored 175, 170, 176. These tests were older (early 50's) but I literally thought o…
Reread the difficult passage and locate the correct answers in the text when reviewing. After doing more passages you'll begin to have a 6th sense on potential test questions
I like how this thread has developed! Keep em coming! I feel if people verbalize their goals in a public forum, they work a little more zealously to achieve them.
Your first PT after the course probably won't be outstanding (165)+ for one major reason. You'll have to alternate between all of the skills you learn in the lessons for the first real time during your or... You'll get there soon enough (maybe even …
Strict is the only way to be accurate... I personally took my first few practice tests untimed until I got comfortable with the material. Take your time during BR and you'll know exactly where you stand every step of the way.
Good luck man (or woman). Just make sure you update us at the end of November with your last 5 PT average so we can see if you lived up to your own hype. You'll understand soon enough
A 180 can happen too but it will take a Herculean effort... Absolute mastery of every concept and a little luck... A dinosaur game or !Kung woman passage can easily screw that up.
Mastering the test is hard. Only 7% of test takers score over 165. I was stuck at 159/160 for three months... A 165 means you basically miss 20 questions. I typically get -3 lg, -9lr, and -8RC... Three misses in logic games means either careless mis…
Diagnostics are pretty meaningless for predicting your final score... They show you what you don't know... You have a lot of work to do but you can build yourself up to a respectable score in due time.
I also started at 148 and it took me 4 months to finally be able to consistently score over 164. I have taken 27 preptests and have retaken 65-72... I'll probably have taken and retaken 56-74 prior to October. I recently got my first perfect section…
What did you diagnose at? What are you currently testing at? Taking a test and fully reviewing it correctly is time consuming... After your first initial gain, it may take weeks to make a significant gain... You could easily burn 20 tests without a …
... My score had a noticeable drop after I got into the high 60's PT's but they recovered after a few tests... You'll be fine... The tests definitely do change and you'll realize the hype as you get closer... Study hard and hopefully you'll peak whe…
2:30 unless the passage is ridiculously hard... Ridiculously hard occurs roughy once every 3 or 4 pts and it takes me 5 minutes but I don't go back to passage afterwards.
Oh wow... 75 tests plus br in that time is brutal but you can make a huge jump in that time... I will say brute forcing your way through tests won't make them increase. I tried it myself trying to prepare for the June lsat in 10 weeks and I ended up…
PT 65+ is where I noticed a switch of sorts... The writing is clearer but there are way more trick answer choices... Like a ridiculous amount of trick answer choices... Once you adjust it will be fine
My goals were modest in the beginning but after seeing what friends and people with similar backgrounds and stats did on tls, I stepped up my expectations and performance in practice... Now it's time to perform
I had my biggest jump in score recently... About 4 months after starting intense practice... After 2 months I had a respectable score but now I can probably score in a range that will get me into an elite school and I still have two more months to g…
It's a good idea... PT 72 is an interesting test and I'm retaking it today with similar time constraints... Time has never been an issue for me except on ridiculous logic games... You will probably do just as well or better on that test... Just bewa…
