  • @BinghamtonDave said: Congrats Alex! Thank you, Dave. And an especially big thanks for helping me with LG, which was always my weakest section.
  • @TheDeterminedC said: I see you everywhere on the forms helping others out. I'm glad to see such big accomplishments from you. CONGRATS!!! Thank you for the kind words, it is much appreciated!
  • @michael_theodore said: This is so amazing! Congrats!!!!! Thank you!
  • @lsatplaylist said: Sounds like a good plan to complete your first two years of LS before starting on the MBA. Is an AMA, webinar, and/or podcast interview coming up? Yes. I like how they set it up to not be unmanageable. Nothing planned, …
  • @hawaiihi said: Congratulations! You had an incredible cycle, and should be so proud. (Also, I interviewed HLS in Feb and got waitlisted, so you're doing better than me by hanging in there!) Good luck in 1L. Maybe one day all of our lawyer pat…
  • @Princess said: Wow, this is all great advise! Just thought I'd chime in here and ask for advise, I'm planning to take the test in July, so do you think 60s to now, with two tests each week sounds like a good plan for 170+? I just took 60 and …

  • I’d go in order. The test changes a bit over time and it’s helpful not to skip around so the changes don’t seem as extreme. Where to start depends on when you’re planning on taking the test.

  • I don’t think anyone can really predict one way or the other. That’s going to depend entirely on you and things like reading speed, how easily you understand the concepts, how much reading your prof assigns, and what you deem “successful.” The work…
  • @jmarmaduke96 said: Congratulations! Those are some really exceptional schools, best of luck with going forward! You are a braver man than I for doing 1L and business school at the same time lol. Do you mind if I ask how long you studied for t…
  • @Bumblebee said: Congratulations, Alex! It's been super inspiring to see you achieve your goals. Best of luck in your future endeavors! Appreciate it @Bumblebee ! You too my friend.
  • @skhan012018 said: Congrats!! That's awesome! Thank you, bru. I feel incredibly lucky and blessed. Good luck to you!
  • @"Always Be Closing" said: @Alex Congratulations man. Well deserved. Great things are in store for you. You have added a tremendous value to the 7sage community with your informative posts and thoughtful responses. Thank you for not only helpi…
  • @lsatplaylist said: Very happy to hear this. Excellent work! Thank you so much!
  • @jkjohnson1991 said: Great stuff man and congrats on all of your acceptances. Thank you very much!!
  • @LSATcantwin said: Sweet. Sweet. Victory! It is well earned my dude. Now you get to enjoy the loveliness of 1L (it’s not THAT bad haha) Seriously happy for you and NYU is lucky to have you. Although I’m also kinda hoping Harvard wakes up …

  • @KeepCalm said: This is awesome! Congrats! Thank you for sharing your insightful thoughts Thank you!
  • I don’t think it matters too much. I’ve gotten into a few T10 schools and I transferred from a CC.
  • It’s “ok” as long as it works for you to do it that way. I would almost always BR my PTs after an hour or two break for lunch. I would recommend taking at least a break just because you want your mind to be rested and fresh so you can concentrate a…
  • My ideal test order would be: LR-LG-LR-RC-LG (last LG experimental) I like LR first too because it’s a nice way to ease into a test.
  • @Louislepauvre said: @Alex Thanks! You too! I only applied to 5 schools (all in the same city) and have heard from two--both the highest ranked schools and both waitlists. Two of the three I haven't heard from are my safeties. Do you mi…
  • I’ve learned a ton from the older tests, but mostly through the CC when I was first starting. They’re actually not THAT different, but I do think the newer tests add a layer of nuance and misdirection that make them more challenging; or, at the very…
  • I’d focus 100% on newer material. Ultimately it’s going to be what prepares you best for what you’re going to see come test day. If I could go back in time and restart my prep, I would only use PT52 and up for my prep.
  • @Louislepauvre If it says complete, I wouldn’t call the schools. But if you want to in order to put your mind at ease, I don’t think it would necessarily hurt. But I have no real information to back that up, so check with one of the 7Sage admission…
  • @MissChanandler said: In my opinion, three really isn't that bad. However, if you already know that you won't be ready in June, I would strongly recommend that you not take it. While it's not necessarily detrimental to have multiple scores, it…
  • One thing I did to avoid this was take full PTs less often and split tests up into timed sections. I still think it’s super important to take full PTs, but I saw more improvement and better results splitting tests into timed sections and reviewing e…
  • Glad to hear it! Yes! 7Sage and the wonderful community served me well. 1.) I’m planning on making my stats all public once my cycle is over. I also post on r/admissions and other forums, so I worry my score could out me. You can PM me though! 2.…
  • I don’t think there’s an objective answer to this. I was told not to take the test until I was ready. That was solid advice. However, I scored a few points lower than I think I would have if I had experienced the real thing beforehand. So you might …
  • I think you just need time to keep studying and you can hit your score goal. One thing that caught my eye was you saying you were planning on taking 2-3 PTs a DAY! Don’t do that! Maybe 2-3 a week. Even that’s probably beginning to push it if you h…
  • I’m planning on going business casual-ish. Nice pants, collared shirt. My SO, who is a female, wore a nice top and black jeans w/ nice boots.
