  • I'd recommend asking once your final grades are in so they can write a better recommendation. If you ask earlier, they probably still will. However, they likely won't be as detailed and strong as they could be. Better to ask after you've gotten that…
  • @LaFranca said: Anybody know if this is being recorded? It's going on now, but I'm at work. Yes, it is being recorded. No worries!
  • While I do love SOA, I think the obvious answer is to postpone. There's really no good argument I can conceive of as to why you'd take it instead of waiting. Like @uhinberg mentioned, the fact you're OK with waiting until next cycle makes this a no-…
  • @Charlesroy100 said: Pretty much one month left to go before D-Day and my motto is "One PT a day keeps the low scores away (Hopefully.)" I've completed 67% of the course which lands me right before starting grouping games. RC is saved for last…
  • @tringo335 said: Check out the list of 7Sage tutors. I'll second this. Just because you want people who are verified and have a track record of success. Both @"Cant Get Right" and @"Accounts Playable" have both helped me out a lot with my s…

  • @"Watermelon Otter" said: @"Alex Divine" Hey! I'm planning to write in June 2018 and would be really interested in joining the study group. Any chance you could add me? I saw you mentioned we'll be starting with PT36 and then do one a week, do…

  • @"Daniel B" said: So are the Blackwing Pearls for sure approved for test day? Yeah people have used them. They aren't #2 pencils but they work with the scantrons.
  • @"Drew Alterio" said: I am only starting out but I would like a simpler way to find premise/conclusion? Any help would be greatly appreciated! I struggled doing the problem set. Also, is there a way I can print out the text underneath the…
  • I also felt like my topic was a cop out. So I just started writing whatever came to my mind. However, after writing about 6 different versions of what would become my PS, it began to evolve into something a bit more idiosyncratic and less cliché.
  • @"Paul Pederson" said: Anyone know if its possible to upload a vid to the forums? Probably easiest to upload the video to YouTube and then post that video on the forum. I don't think you can upload the video directly to the forum.
  • Not sure of where to find a comprehensive list, but a more fruitful exercise may be going through older PTs/PTs you've taken and searching for some on your own. I think this exercise will help you with recognizing and identifying them quickly, which…
  • @LivePumpkin said: Are there any LR Q’s that are pretty much giveaways and you should almost always get correct? As @akistotle said above, S.A. should be freebies since most of them are formulaic. JY has also stated in the Principle question…
  • Hey @jennybbbbb , I think it would be really helpful to return to the "Grammar" and "Introduction to Arguments" lessons in the CC. They are right in the beginning, and I think when we first dive head-first into our prep we don't always realize how …
  • @akistotle said: I recommend upgrading to Ultimate+. It comes with Drill packs, Question Bank, and full PTs (from PT1), and they are all essential to my studies. Going to agree with this. Having every PT, drill packs, question bank, and expl…
  • @lakish2010 said: Hey! I just made the decision to cancel December and now I'm on the June track. Count me in! Happy to have you join us!
  • If your goal is 18 points higher than your last PT, I would HIGHLY recommend postponing until February/until next cycle. I know postponing can seem like a reflexive answer sometimes, but that's usually because it's the right answer. You can absolute…

  • My guess is somewhere between 750 and 1000 hrs.
  • Send the 2 you know are strong. Only use the 3rd if you absolutely are required too. Having 3 letters if one is weaker isn't likely to help you and is more likely to weaken your app.

  • If possible, I would try for 2 academic LORs. They will likely hold more weight since you haven't been out of school that long. Yes, if you were graded by a professor it will count as academic.
