  • 170+ Jan > mid 160s now. Would only advise if you can basically guarantee you score it though. You run the risk of not getting that score jump in Jan. Also, schools will automatically hold your application if you are registered for January unles…
  • https://classic.7sage.com/discussion/#/discussion/27290/can-i-submit-my-applications-before-receiving-all-my-letters-of-recommendation Sounds like you need to assign the letter of recommendation to the school, but you don't have to have the letter …
  • This is awesome, congratulations! Good luck with admissions!
  • @"Kevins Famous Chili" said: That's amazing! Congrats! Would love some advice on how to improve RC, it's my worst section Thank you! I shifted from highlighting to trying to comprehend and low res. Biggest change for me came when I was able …
  • @"connor.105" said: so did u just use 7sage or did u use other resources I used 7sage and The Loophole.
  • Haha. The LSAT reddit said the same about me too. Congrats on your awesome score!
  • @shminder84 said: Again, Many thanks Alex, I will do exactly as you say. It makes too much sense. Honestly, I've used all the SA questions in the earlier PTs, is it worth "wrecking" the 40s and 50s in case I have to rewrite? I'm…
  • @shminder84 said: Hi Alex, Thank you for the reply, much appreciated. I am finishing the questions on time, normally with a 1-2 min to spare. The questions I'm missing are normally distributed as ~3 throughout and ~3 at the end. …
  • Out of the 6 questions you miss per section, how many are at the beginning/end? Are you finding yourself running out of time on the harder questions, or just not understanding? You also mentioned SA/NA questions... with these I would recommend bein…
  • Being completely realistic like you're asking, if your average is 163 I would expect this number on test day +- 3 points, so think 160-166. This is not to say that you can't get a 169 though, I have seen many people do better than their range on tes…
  • ^ Agreed. There is no way for people to help without sufficient knowledge of your study habits and review methods.
  • @inertiax21 said: Thanks for the input everyone! I took a PT two days ago and I saw upward movement to 167. Here are my takeaways: -I think I was over studying without giving myself time to process and feel comfortable with the conce…
  • @ev2k1 said: That's where I need to start. I actually haven't taken a PT at all yet. I'm kind of just doing the drills and working on them until I understand it and it clicks, but I'll start there. Thanks! Sounds good! I'd recommend picking …
  • Take it when your PT average is where you want to score on the real test. If you get to a 157 by January, which is definitely possible with effective studying, then I see no reason to wait!
  • @canihazJD said: LG is almost a free section to anyone who puts in sufficient time. The main barrier is a psychological one as it never feels like you'll make it. Given this move, I'd be interested to see if they also do away with LR questions…
  • Absolutely not. The thought of getting 3 LR sections in a row sounds brutal. Test will be much more boring and the mental fatigue will hit quicker.
  • If you're only planning on taking August 2024+... just don't study LG. If you want to take before August, study LG.
  • I would save the newest tests for the few weeks before your exam. Also, I would take 4 sections to simulate a real test experience as closely as possible. You can randomize the 4th section by changing the test to modern and throwing in a full sectio…
  • LR - I would recommend doing speed drills of the first 10-15 questions per section, and shoot for a minute per question max. If you can get this consistent you'll have 2 min/question on the last 10 harder ones which should be more than enough time. …
  • I would take 1/2 a week until you're averaging around where you want to score on the real test. There really isn't a set amount, I know people that took 10 or less and got into the 170s, and I also know people that took 30-40 with the same result. …
  • 7sage offers a pretty great core curriculum that will teach you the basics and get you familiar with the test. I would take the free diagnostic available through LawHub and then work your way through 7sage CC!
  • I think it would be possible but very difficult. The best way to do it in a month would probably be to get your LG down to sub -3 while also improving a few points on both LR and RC. LG is the easiest section to improve on, so if you want a huge jum…

  • The 80s has some of the hardest PTs released and overall I think it's the hardest collection of PTs available. 88 and 89 are absolutely brutal. I also noticed this same drop off when I was studying too. Went 171 to 162 after going from PT 52 > 80…
  • long-term friendship --most-> felt comfortable
  • It's also worth noting, it seems like you are seperated by a decent amount of time from your undergrad, which means your GPA will not be nearly as relevant as it would for someone just coming out of undergrad, and your work experience will matter a …
  • Yes! Helps with mind clutter. Once I think something can't be right I will press the "X" button by the answer choice so I don't have to think about it anymore.
  • A is wrong because of the lack of the word "primarily". News can still serve its intended function and be entertaining, it just can't be PRIMARILY entertaining and subsequently lose its intended function. We need something that says that news that i…
