Thanks Mr. Spivey.
I honestly think there should be a stickied announcement on 7Sage with this information. It gets asked so frequently, and there is enough good evidence to dispel it, that such a post would be helpful.
I encourage others to not start checking until Wednesday. Go do something fun on Monday and Tuesday. The chances are so slim. You can't do anything to change the score now. I'm sure you will hear from someone if grey day is early, let them obsess.
So, I think there are probably ways to get to mastery besides fool proofing. But, the magic is in the name. It really is "fool proof." You do so much volume of practice that you get better.
As far as doing easier games, I absolutely encourage you t…
You seem to have gone the diagram heavy route.
My main difference in looking at this question is that it turns on the word "expect." We are talking about the beliefs of a group, not the actual reality of a situation. So I think even if the benefits…
It took me about 500 game attempts to start going consistently -0 on PTs. I had to keep practicing to not get rusty. Probably ended up with about 900 game attempts before I took the real thing.
I don't think this is exhaustive but it does have some great info:

Some good advice here.
My advice:
BR at 180 every time. Don't get lazy on this. Dissect every question in immense detail, forcing yourself to write out the analysis. BRing below 180 should feel like a major disappointment.
Keep working on fundame…
I understand why you might have those feelings, but like noted above, except for Stanford and Yale, admission to law school is such a numbers driven game. If you've got the right GPA and LSAT, you will have a very strong chance at admission to your …
@"Cant Get Right" Thanks for sharing your experience. Absolutely rooting for you.
I honestly think it was unfair to those who had to take the experimental RC first. Someone at LSAC should run the numbers, and I bet there is a meaningful difference …
Here's advice from 7Sage founder JY on cancelling:
https://classic.7sage.com/discussion/#/discussion/1442/i-think-i-f-ed-up-and-i-want-to-cancel
I think the biggest thing to know is that, especially at schools where you are likely to apply, they s…
I've been thinking about this as well. It kind of depends on where you're applying and what your LSAT score is.
If you end up scoring above the school's 75th percentile LSAT, then you've put yourself in a great position regardless of when you apply…
No. There are not.
If you dig around at Law School Numbers, there are plenty of examples of people with low LSAT scores getting into Yale and NYU after retaking and getting a higher score.
My response from a similar thread:
There are virtually no advantages to cancelling.
No schools average [LSAT scores]. Some people claim that Yale does, but there is no evidence for this. There is in fact evidence that they do not. Schools only car…
@"Paul Caint" i think you are totally selling yourself short. Sure it's possible that you scored a few points lower than normal, but it's entirely possible you scored average or better. If you finished each section with time to spare, no way should …
@BinghamtonDave Yes, one proctor suggested taking all of the stuff out of its packaging and then wrapping it in a paper towel from the bathroom to bring them in the room. Another carefully read each label to make sure I hadn't snuck in any LSAT info…
@mta72 Honestly, my memory is not getting kinda hazy. I'm less sure. I think the middle LR for me had a ton of disagree questions on the first page, like 3. I seem to be remembering questions as people post them, but unable to do so on my own.
I stand firmly by the "do not cancel" advice. Really, don't do it.
That being said, just like @RafaelBernard said, this was a valuable experience regardless of your score. Worst case, you will be way better prepared and more familiar for December. …
There are virtually no advantages to cancelling.
No schools average. Some people claim that Yale does, but there is no evidence for this. There is in fact evidence that they do not. Schools only care about the highest.
My advice: do not cancel.

Overall, a medium test. My order was:
LR 25Qs. This was a real section. Blazed through it. 2 star difficulty.
LR 25Qs. This was experimental. The most memorable question was about bears and their habitat. Harder than S1 but not crazy. 2 star diffi…
