Nothing to do with law school. It gives you an overview of litigation.
Oh …
Really, because I was trying to use the Powerscore books on my own, and for LG, I kept using the free videos on YouTube that 7sage made to make sense of the LG in the PS book. I went back to them so often, I wondered what their course was like. I a…
I would love to see a blog post about managing family life and law school. It would be even more interesting to me if it involved having to travel to school and to home some distance. This is something I will have to deal with, and reading about som…
June was evil for most of us. Go read through the official June thread, and you'll see a lot of flabbergasted people scoring lower than their PT average. Myself included.
For RC, I picked up the LSAT Trainer book, as recommended by a few 7Sagers o…
If you can manage without the money and benefits (if there are any), or work around it.. I say go for it. If not, then don't hurt yourself. You can always go next year.
It's weird how I keep running into this message.
I was at a used book store a while back, and picked up a book about Clarence Darrow. It was called Attorney for the Damned, I believe. Honestly, I was just waiting on my family to finish shopping, a…

Most people in their 30s would say that 23-28 is a shit show. You’re just out of school and still trying to figure your life out and likely not financially secure and probably don’t know basic adult things since no one teac…
Thanks for the update on this, @Alex . Being a reverse splitter, I'm kinda bummed by this turn of events. LoL. I was hoping maybe GPA would begin to play a stronger role in admissions decisions.

Signing up for 7Sage earlier.
This. ^^
Also, realize that 4-5 months might have been too much too soon, and I burned out pretty hard right before my first testing. If it takes 3 tries and over a year, then it does. It's…
Anybody know if we can jump in a few mins late? It's going to be tight fitting this in my schedule. My kid's first open house night at middle school is the same day, just before.
If you don't need it, don't take it. Student loans are really unlike any other kind of loan, save maybe credit cards. They are unique in how they build interest. It's not worth having it on hand to "save".
Hmm.. this is interesting. And it makes sense. Reading the question stems to see if there are a number of MBT and MBF does seem to indicate some very hard set rules in every scenario the rules could create.... meaning it's not real open ended, and s…

The point is that people claim that, legally, women are equal. We have equal rights. We’re allowed to vote, we’re allowed to go to school with men, we’re allowed to work. But in practice, in reality, we are not treated eq…
Do not put your cards on a "maybe" of a transfer. If you don't like the school, don't go. But if it's a full ride, and you'd be okay going, do it. The lack of debt is a pretty amazing thing. Or, apply to both. Use the scholarship offer from the …
Really, there's no profession you could go into these days without facing these issues as a woman. It's going to be a bit of a battle no matter what. It's appalling, but not surprising when I read articles like this one.
When in doubt, to negate, put "It is not the case that..." in front of the statement.
Barkley is a dog.
Opposite: It is NOT the case that Barkley is a Dog.
Some rabbits are black.
It is not the case that some rabbits are black. (if there aren'…
@"samantha.ashley92" Khan Academy just seemed really basic. They had some video lessons, but not anything like 7sage's lessons. Also, they were not nearly as entertaining. I tried a couple, and found myself immediately bored with the speaker's t…
I agree with @"samantha.ashley92" If you've exhausted this first, maybe look into something else. But if you're still working with this method, don't go mixing things up. I still think that mixing things up with Khan Academy before my first test w…

@"Mike Spivey" WAIT so was there a 14/15-year-old lawyer floating around at some point?
Yeah... I gotta hear more about this...
Burnout and test stress. Test stress does some crazy stuff. Meditate, go have fun, work out even harder, etc. Get that extra energy out in a positive way and take a little time off before.
You already paid, and you can't get any of that back. Might as well go and get the experience in and see what happens. If you retest and do better, no harm no foul
