This is a great time to plug the June/July study group on 7Sage, we meet on Tuesday evenings. I believe the group is technically a June group, but some of us are taking in July. If a retake is in your future, please feel free to join us. The grou…

If I were to retake I would yet again have to delay law school by another year. Anybody have any advice to give on my situa…
I think there is a ton to be said about this question. It is very rare that I would be disappointed in the structure of an LR question, but I really dislike 67-2-13. Essentially, you are correct, the reason for eliminating (A) is the one you menti…
First, don’t be frustrated, these things take time. Let’s start from some basics: can you tell me what a NA answer choice is supposed to do? What is its function in relation to the argument we are provided?

One last thing I will add here for anyone reading is that ideally, one should be able to catch a mistranslation of a rule pretty early on. If for instance you are doing a standard acceptable situation question and you are working wrong to right (whi…
Both of these aspects as well as our core skills can be sharpened by meaningful RC practice. For far too long, I was primarily focused on volume rather than quality.
I think there are two things beyond the normal advice given about RC that really shape my approach. It is my hope that they do not come off as abstract, but rather useful and pragmatic. This is the first time I am attempting to describe my approac…

Also, double-check your rules once you've written them all down.
This. In addition to this, I double check that I have translated the rules correctly from the last rule backward to the first. I have found that checking …
I see what you are doing here with the sampling error. I'm just checking in to state that Harvey Keitel, AKA "Mr. White" is for my money the single most underrated actor of all time. I used to think that title went to Dennis Hopper, but I've chang…
No problem. The webinars are fantastic. 7Sage basically takes elite test takers and gives them freedom to go into great detail about highly specific aspects of the exam. The webinars are a gold mine of knowledge.
My recommendation would be to do some problem sets from the older exams located in the CC. Take time breaking down the argument, labeling premise(s), conclusion, sub conclusions.
For necessary assumption questions keep a close eye on any equivocati…
Steven Pinker:Enlighttenment Now. Actually finished it last night. I’m going on to Norman Finkelstein’ Gaza: An Inquest Into Its Martyrdom, starting this weekend.
I have found that close reading helps with RC.
I started similar to where you are. This is a situation that I believe demands a tutor. My recommendation would be to consider one. I believe your particular situation is going to demand a very specific diagnosis of your LG issues (diagnostic befo…
@twssmith another passage that might be along the lines of what you mentioned isPT 38-3-1 about controlled burns. Very detail heavy and for a few of the questions we've got to not only read between the lines, but piece together information.
I've been jumping into these conversations lately because I want to get more info on the application process. I'm on board with @goingfor99th comment. You have a 3.74, a 166-167-168 with that GPA puts you in a totally different position from what …
The first question you are probably going to get is: what are your career goals and what was your LSAT score?
The first question will allow people to choose what they view as thew best school given your goals and the second question will help deter…
The general form for this argument is that:
Believe democracy——>High regard wisdom’
We know that our particular case:
believes that a work of art that is popular is unlikely to be good
Therefore we conclude:
our particular case:
Believe in…

Although not consistently the case, it is possible to have all…
