Retakes have lots of value, you’ve just got to understand that your scores will be inflated. Like @nanchito said, just keep it real and take the time to actually figure out the logic behind questions that you remember.
I love audio books! I use them for long nonfiction works which I sometimes struggle sticking with to the end. I “read” Rise and Fall of the Third Reich in three weeks after years of failed starts on it. How about something to stoke your interest …
I think of games just like a Sudoku or Crossword puzzle or something. A lot of mornings I’ll even casually do a game or two while I drink my coffee. This isn’t necessarily great practice, but removing it from the testing mentality definitely helps…
There’s really only one way that I know of to increase speed, and that’s to increase mastery. There are some fine tuning things you can do after that, but until you’ve mastered the underlying concepts, there’s not much else you can do. So obviousl…

Every time that guy "yawned" I wanted to hit him. I was like dude did you NOT sleep last night we have the LSAT today.
Haha, actually, many people in your test room will not have slept! Lots of anxiety the night befor…
I think you pretty much nailed it. There is an implied “all,” and to negate an “all” statement we just need to convert it to a “some not” statement, which is exactly what you did. And I think your original “it is not the case that” statement works…
@BruiserWoods the Noricas erase well enough. It is a very dark pencil though, so it definitely leaves a ghost. For me the dark writing is well worth the trade though.
And the Wopex doesn't even have an eraser, haha. So not too well.

This thread will never sink!
While it’s back, I’ve got an update. I’ve switched from Staedtler Noricas to Staedtler Wopex. They’re both great pencils, but the Wopex has a really nice, solid weight to it. I also like that it’s specifically graded…
I’d also add that three hours is a pretty solid block of time for a single go. Don’t feel like you’ve got to put in an 8 hour straight work day. Work a few hours then quit. The difficult thing is starting back again. I had this same issue when I…
Haha. That is really funny. Never noticed that ambiguity before, but both ways seem like perfectly legitimate readings. I bet a lot of folks were pissed that one didn’t get removed from scoring!
Hey, I think Daniel pretty much covered it, but while there is definitely a threshold of study quantity you’ll have to cross, the quality is much more important. When I say disciplined study, I mean quality. To score in the 170s, you really have s…
I’m sure they have some kind of mechanism in place to deal with this type of thing. I’d call them and ask. If there’s anything they can do, you’ll just have to provide them with the proof- probably a transcript directly from the study abroad insti…

from what I can tell it seems as though there's a set amount of these previous tests available, perhaps it maybe counter productive to be wasting precious material considering I will either way be reviewing this course.

Very generally, my strategy is to read for the forrest and annotate for the trees. So my annotations will be highlighting details, clarifying referential phrasing, and marking specific words and phrases that indicate shifts in voice and perspective…
That’s going to be tight. It’s doable, but you’re going to have to catch on to things pretty quickly. Take the diagnostic and see how far you have to go. For the amount of time you have and your target score, I’d really want to see a diagnostic s…
Yeah, I think that’s doable. You’ve got to have really effective and highly disciplined study habits to get to that level, but you’re definitely within striking distance.
As for the newer tests, I’m not sure “harder” is entirely accurate. They de…
@hazelnut13 Haha! I wish the Biggie meme did refer to something from the call, but alas, it does not. It does create kind of a conditional palindrome though, which I thought was kinda neat.
