Going about -3 from your PT average is typical. I saw in another post you scored 171? So you're definitely capable of scoring what you want. You just have zero margin for error. You've really got to aim for a 180 on every PT, and don't even think ab…

@"Cant Get Right" Do you suggest we fully BR our test before the call? I'm taking PT 65 tomorrow morning and I won't be able to BR the whole test before 8pm.
Hey, sorry I missed this! I think @twssmith covered i…
I also used Powerscore until I joined 7Sage, and I've found that the value of my retakes is diminished surprisingly little because I didn't BR using the Powerscore method. Of course I'd glance over the ones I missed until I could say "Oh okay, I se…

The first book I ever annotated was Cat's Cradle in high school. I've been annotating everything I read since, and it's so funny to go back and read my notes in that. I literally underli…
That's interesting. So you mean stats for sections as a whole. I would be curious to see how one LR section that felt particularly brutal compares to an average section. I wonder if the star system could be used to generate this. So, maybe the a…
Scoring a 170+ is an enormous task. I'm curious about where you say that the June test went well but the score didn't reflect it. The score, and only the score, reflects how well the test went; and if you're aiming for 170+ every error is a disast…
There is debate about this; so assuming you're ready for the PT study phase in the first place, I definitely don't think it's bad that you've taken some recent tests. The two schools of thought go something like this:
1. Save the more recent PTs …

1) Given what I know, are there only a few possible worlds? If so, it's often worth splitting the board.
2) If I do split, will whatever I am using to split yield a decent number of inferences? If not, I won't bother, unless doing s…
It looks like this question has been answered very well and thoroughly, but just thought I'd pitch in my buck o' 5.
I think @stepharizona 's method is really simple and effective. You have to deny the relationship between the sufficient and necess…
@dytmom_3x , you should wait until finishing the curriculum before taking any PTs at all. PTs are where you hone and fine tune the skills from the curriculum, so if you're taking PTs before you've learned and developed these skills, you are losing …
Well, what exactly happened on test day? Did you hit your average PT score and that just wasn't quite where you needed to be? Or did you fall short of your average which would have been what you needed?
And unless you're scoring 180 on every PT, th…
Lots of great advice already. @blah170blah covered this, but just to further reinforce, you've got to make sure you're not cutting corners on your PTs. Are you bubbling in answers on your scantron? That's 2-3 minutes. There's a lot of sneaky little …
@dreamville , yeah, that definitely can happen. I think the most important thing is getting the setup though. With most games, most of the work is done up front setting up the game board. If you’ve got a great setup, that’s almost as good as know…
June chattels may have been late, but they were just in time. My printer just died! New one will be here Friday, compliments of 7Sage. Thanks for keeping me in business guys!
My system has been to run a section until I am -0 and under time on each game. If I fall short, I watch the videos and then redo the game. I repeat this until I’ve got it. Then, for the same section, I will repeat the process the next day. Then …
Nice! Thanks 7Sage! And yeah @montahar , somewhere at Amazon there’s an algorithm that thinks I’m a spoiled grandchild. Let’s just hope that’s not what makes the algorithms learn to feel love. Because when they do, god help us.
You should definitely return to the curriculum. The curriculum is your constant companion. No matter how well you are performing, there will always be productive reasons to return.
