This is actually what I've been working on recently and I've discovered that my approach is very sloppy and inconsistent. It's the downside of foolproofing: You can get by with sloppy habits, and that just doesn't fly on the real thing. So basically…

I think a big reason I'm struggling now is that the Blueprint course I'm in is structured for people who want to get it over with in 2-3 months, and for that reason I feel like a lot of my core understanding is not where it sho…
Yeah, that's what I meant. For me, it'd have huge implications. My high score is 170. My average is 165. Those early mistakes would suddenly become very, very meaningful if they start averaging.
I may be the one who always did RC first, but I've got the solution to this now. Can't remember who I stole this from, but it's legit:
Take one whole PT in sections as your experimental. Count it as a normal PT. BR it. Grade it. Review it. Add it i…
At that level, the points you're missing are typically the most challenging points on the test. You acknowledged that not BRing is problematic, so I'll only scold you on that in passing, lol. The only thing I can think that might could help you at t…
Schools will continue to be primarily concerned with maintaining/increasing their rankings. The real question is, will USNews change their metrics? This would fundamentally affect the foundations of this consideration, and if I were just starting ou…
Night owl by preference here. I've been forcing myself to be a morning person for years. Set alarms to keep yourself from dilly-dallying, lolly-gagging, and loafing around. My phone goes off about a dozen times before noon every day to tell me what …
The early bird may get the worm, but the night owl's diet consists of mice, rats, moles, squirrels, rabbits, spiders, frogs, lizards, small birds, and even skunks.

I just tired, like I SWEAR I tried. Finished the section in 33min looked back and realized I hadn't really skipped any, just forced myself to move on faster. I don't understand why this is so hard for me lol

Hey Sarah, so you could definitely benefit from a break. I'm just getting back from a break myself and the longer I've studied for LSAT the more essential I am convinced time off is.
So, please don't worry about waiting an extra year. I really wish…
PT 35 is as far as I'm taking it, but will restart. Taking the next few weeks off as I prepare for the Sept Test and will restart probably first week of October.
Yeah, very common. You can't see the forrest without getting out of the trees from time to time. And you can't perform your best without that broader perspective.
Second all of the above suggestions. I'd also add that learning to skip questions effectively is very simple and incredibly powerful. More than maybe anything else, that will max out whatever potential you've achieved.
For workshops using licensed material, we don't record. We do a lot of them though, so keep an eye out and you should have plenty of opportunity to join further sessions.
Do you have an idea of where you want to go to school? Keep an eye out on schools' GRE policies. More and more are accepting GRE which could be the better test for you if you've got a strong math background. From what I understand, the GRE verbal is…
Glad that exercise helped @jkatz1488 ! That's exactly why it's so important to try out different things and make a decision empirically rather than based on what "feels" right. I did the same thing as you but backwards. A quick read with lots of que…
Finding your optimal passage/question time distribution is really important. It's different for everyone so tinker with it and find what works for you. For me, I spend a lot of time upfront, almost 4 minutes sometimes. The passage strategy has big i…
Great advice here already, and I totally second everything. Don't study for LSAT yet, but there's definitely plenty you can be doing. As mentioned, nurture your UGPA.
I'd also add to be sure to build and maintain close working relationships with a …
One thing I do to make sure I touch a little on everything every day is do a warm up just like I'll do on test day before leaving for the test center. I do one game, one RC passage, and a half section of LR. It's a great way to stay fresh and go thr…
@Hannah56 , it varies depending on how solid their fundamentals are. It can be really drastic. One student jumped from a consistent high 160's to a 178 on their first attempt. 175 following that and was a little disappointed, haha! That was a studen…

By skipping ACs, do you mean outright skipping (not reading at all)? or just quick scanning after picking the right answer? Should I do that even for Qs in 15-25? For now, I pick the right answer and move on without looking …
That's interesting. It's very important to identify under confidence issues, and this trend of overestimating difficulty on questions where we're under confident is likely a pretty close correlation. I like it!
