Haha, yeah it's frustrating sometimes. I came to view LSAT as a more general obstacle. Yes, law schools are interested in how capable you are with basic logic and language skills, but the much more important aspect of this test is simply the fact th…
I think this is good for the most part, just make sure that you're not wasting time. For many people who struggle with time on RC, this is where the time is going. When there's a line cite, I do think it's typically good to glance back, just make su…

Why bother taking it then? Stay home, study and take PT80 as a PT rather than a test.
This! The danger is not in having a bad score on your record, it's in wasting the take. Your money is gone anyway, don't lose a take on…
It takes a little longer, but I think what time is lost rereading the questions is more than made up for by being able to fly through them. Not to mention increased accuracy!
Yeah, the 3X3 setup is @desire2learn 's . Really clever and I'd definitely classify it as a chart. I think that being able to cross out cells is definitely a feature of a chart. I think the main feature is that you have both a vertical and a horizon…
Well it looks like you definitely got the right answer. Answer choice E does exactly what you say and it's actually pretty devastating to the argument. I don't see anything else that affects the argument though. Which answer choice are you calling e…

Just back to say that this is the first time I've looked at the forums or anything LSAT related in 4 or so days! I'm enjoying my break

I am taking my first LSAT this Saturday. >__< And, sad to say, I'm not ready. I found 7Sage late
If you'd found 7Sage at all, I'm pretty sure that by now someone would have told you not to take before you're ready;)
I've read that question as a yield protection thing. If you're applying to 20 different schools, then it's in their interest to be able to see whether you consider them a safety or a reach school or what. When I have seen this, it has not been optio…
2:30 is a LOT of time, so for that kind of time investment you better be getting huge returns. I just don't see that happening here. Learning to shift gears from question to question is a big part of taking the test. Drill sections until you get com…

I was told if I cannot get a decent score on Dec. test, I should just give up---it's not your thing etc.
They have a point too, I think, so...
Your parents absolutely do not have a point. All that shows is that their opinions are w…
It's noble to want to support your parents. One of the best ways you can do that is through the opportunities that a killer LSAT score creates for you. The LSAT is an investment in your career and will affect your income--and your ability to support…
Weaken (and strengthen) questions are the hardest questions there is. Skip 'em when you start feeling bogged down, then come back at the end. If you can't crack it open then, at least it didn't cost you any further points by becoming a time sink.
Yeah, I think @"Alex Divine" covered it well. There's no experience to be gained by taking the test unprepared. If you want to do a test run, check your area for a mock LSAT administration.
I made every LSAT mistake there is, but testing before I w…
They're not above confusing/misleading question stems though. I found PT 78 LR to be really tricky on this. In review, there were several questions where I realized that I'd functionally misidentified question stems.
If it's not different, I know of a lot of people who are going to be really upset--namely, everyone who takes the test on the earlier date. I can't cite the actual policy on this, but I feel safe in assuming it's different just based on the fact tha…
I never PT'd while I was sick, but I did it burned out a few times. What I find is that even a marginal drop in mental presence and clarity is devastating to my score.
