If you have your apps ready by the time early dec, you can also take the nov test. You wouldn’t be applying early, but you also wouldn’t be applying late. This might be worth not sitting out a year.
No difference at all for admissions. The earliest you can apply is in sept, and you will have your score back before then for both. The only thing about July is it’s undisclosed. But if you get a score you are satisfied with then that really doesn’t…
Thank you! It’s probably the best la law school in terms of energy, but unless I get significant financial aid I won’t go. I applied with the feb test and am feeling he effects of such a late application. I plan to take the July lsat and reapply in …
@FixedDice @Emily2122 Thanks for the responses. It was from Loyola Law School, and I was admitted. I googled this topic like crazy and essentially what it comes down to is you don't know and you just have to wait. Best of luck to y'all!
I applied with the feb lsat and haven’t heard from anywhere yet. Most places stayed I would be at a “significant disadvantage” applying so late. Is that what that means? I am basically waiting until after deposits are in to be up for whatever possib…
No. More like answering local questions in games to help out with the more global questions. Like answering a given situation, then using that board to help out in acceptable situations questions.
Thanks for all the feedback. I’m looking to make the change.
@jyarmo I fill it in. Then circle the number on scantron to let me know it was skipped. This gives me peace of mind. Also if I don’t get a chance to go back I have a bubbled answer. The o…
That’s a good plan. But if you think a retake is possible, you might have to sign up for the Sept exam before you take the July exam. They are spaced only about 6 weeks apart. And you definitely will not have your score back before the Sept deadline…
Sept test. If time is an issue use the summer. And if you need to retake the next one is in November. Don’t stress. Take that extra 3 months. Why wouldn’t you?
@stepharizona that’s so great to hear. I appreciate that. Also this will be my fourth take. But I also have an Absent from a few years ago. Didn’t know not taking it was also reflected. So this is my 4th take but they will see an A. So will this the…
@"mickey.caleb" Thanks a lot for the advice. Honestly, I have taken many timed practice exams and have scored well into the 170's. I think I have good skills and intuition. But come test time a lot of my skills and intuition goes out the window…
Thanks a lot! This is helpful. I just signed up for the June test. Holy Cow does this feel wild. Once I rock out the June test, I'm going to begin my memoirs "My year with the LSAT"
The last 20 exams. But I am more concerned with what 4 scores looks like? And how two low 160's scores plus a cancellation will be received if it is sitting next to a 168+?
LG are the easiest improvement. If you literally stayed the same in LR and RC, and improved your LG you probably would hit your goal with just LG improvement. Congrats! Foolproof LG...and don't literally stay the same on LR and RC and you will cru…
Loyola is pretty great. Have you visited the campus. I actually think it’s the best atmosphere of all the la schools. Also you will be a big fish there and go for super cheap. UCI had such a terrible energy. Felt like everyone there didn’t want to b…
Thank you all! Getting the Rothman would be a dream. UCLA is great too. I just like USC's environment and campus a little more, I live by it, I think ultimately tuition with aid will be lower, and I think in LA it opens up the same doors. So USC =…
I hear you on the pressure part. It I’m right there in terms of getting the score I want/need. Usc is my number 1 choice, because I want to stay in la and the la market. There’s no question waiting a cycle would put me in a better standing app wise,…
By priority so they know I’m interested now, and to get the fee waiver. But it says applications not complete by feb 1 are at a significant disadvantage. So that factor still applies
Alex: It said it on the website, then I called to verify. They echoed what was said on the website. I feel the same way. A 167+ would should offset it. I think they are basically saying they want only above average stats at that point. Anything a…
