@BrianSeo With respect to MBT and MBF question types, what do you mean by you are trying to push out the answer from the stimulus? I remember JY using those words verbatim and they were a bit ambiguous to me.

I'd seek out maybe one of your English major friends! I do this all the time for my friends. Also it helps to read your personal statement out loud to various audiences. If it reads weird or doesn't flow then back to the drawing board.

Give your brain a break relative to how long you've been studying for. I can usually go for 2 hours straight and then I need a little Youtube break in between (10-15 min). I've also realized that I have to have to pack snacks or I'm completely done.

It's all a matter of finding out what calms you down. Whether its video games, cooking, watching tv etc. You should take some time out of every day to free yourself of the days troubles.
