Schools will know if you're registered for another LSAT, and different schools have different policies. Some default to considering your application when you submit it; others default to waiting for a future LSAT score report before considering your…
Being international is correlated with worse outcomes (compared to domestic applicants with identical numbers). As you know from the LSAT, though this doesn't mean that being international CAUSES you to do worse.
It could be that international stud…

Sorry for the delay, and a HUGE thanks to @"Alan Cheuk" for being a computery videoy genius!
Yep—your cumulative GPA according to LSAC is the one that matters. Schools will see your degree GPA, which is good, but they have to bake your cumulative GPA into their 509 disclosures.
@"Rigid Designator" I agree that multiple takes are a soft factor. If you've already racked up six, I'm not sure the marginal cost of a seventh is particularly high, but either number might be enough to raise eyebrows.
On the other hand, a good sco…
Everyone's given great advice so far!
You definitely don't have to worry about reusing LORs.
The chance of an admissions officer remembering your personal statement from last cycle is relatively small, but it's still a good idea to give it a light…
Hi everyone! We talk extensively about timing in this lesson: https://classic.7sage.com/admissions/lesson/affects-chances-getting-law-school/
We even came up with a statistical model to quantify the importance of timing!
Many law school admissions…

Hi everyone,
@HopingforT14 and @akistotle last year, Yale was the only school that asked if you've worked with a consultant or editor. We don't expect that to change this year, but applications haven't been released yet.
For reference, these are t…
I'd write a very, very short one unless they indicate they aren't interested. Emory, for example, says something like "please spare us your LSAT addenda" (paraphrasing) on their application.
I think you should worry about the stuff you can control! You've decided to apply this year, so you'll apply this year; now your task is to frame your story.
Is it possible that some admissions officer would prefer candidate X with 5 years of profe…
I don't think it would hurt, and there's a chance it would help. Make sure you get very specific: I got this, this, and this on the SAT on this, this, and this date. Either offer to attach score reports or just send them. If you can, try to help the…
Congrats to our winner, @"samantha.ashley92" . You'll receive an email from us soon with instructions about how to claim your Edit Once.
Thanks again for submitting great ideas, everyone!
Graduate GPA is a soft factor. UGPA gets baked into a school's 509 disclosures and USNWR ranking.

Good news and bad news. The bad news is that the trend we noticed does pertain to international students with American undergraduate degrees. Students who checked "international" on their LSN profile tended to do worse than students who did not chec…
