I have this fear of wasting PTs
Wasting PTs is when you take PTs but have little knowledge of logic, of how to read for reasoning structure, and of argumentation. If you have gone through the curriculum thoroughly and you’ve had ey…
This is a sequence game. The “until” isn’t so much a logical indicator as sequential indicator. In other words, G and O are before T.
and P is before T
Remember G3-->Q5, but Q is clearly in 4, so that negates the necessary condition, triggering a negation of the sufficient condition. In other words, G cannot be in 3. That leaves only J and H for slot 3. Hence, answer D
@WorkHardPlayHardDirtbiker Give this a thought: Get a roommate, maybe a better job, and move out. Someplace close, so you can visit. You'll thank me later.
JY suggests doing 8 passages with Phase 1 and then switching over to Phase 2 for 8 pages. Then, just doing passages normally. But you can modify it however you like. Maybe you can write them out when you BR the passage? Have you read LSAT Trainer? I…

Or is it like so:
Passage 1: Phase 1 technique
Passage 2: Phase 2 technique
Passage 3: Phase 1 technique
Passage 4: Phase 2 technique
It is not like that. Phase 2 is exactly like Phase 1 except instead of writing out what you thi…

At this point, before the December exam, I was thinking of doing 1 timed, 4 passage RC section a day with a BR. In the BR, really identifying where the right answer was in the passage and what tripped me up about picking the inco…
I explained this in your other post. Here’s a link for some more discussion of the difference between prepositions and conjunctions: http://clasfaculty.ucdenver.edu/tphillips/grammar/prep_vs_conj-intro.pdf
and a little more detail : http://random-i…
Yes and No. “For” is an interesting word because it has two grammatical functions, as a preposition and as a conjunction. It is only a logical indicator when it is being used as a conjunction. When it is used as a preposition, like “for my friends”…
While I would definitely give LSAT Trainer a higher priority (because it is the gold standard for learning how to read for reasoning structure and how to find flaws in arguments), Manhattan LR and RC are also pretty good books. I found their LR book…
I think you should always be drilling LG, almost on a daily basis. I try to do 3-4 games per day to stay sharp. I've found when I get lax about this, my LG scores go down.
I’ll be honest. Very few people can go from a 145 diagnostic to 170 in 2 months. Very few can do it in 4 months. You have a lot of fundamental skill that you need to learn. Then you have to learn to apply those skills under an intense timed consider…
@jordan.marty99
Don’t have nearly enough information. For starters, are you new to the LSAT? Have you taken a timed diagnostic? What is your goal score?
