I did exactly what you described. A full PT then 1 to 2 hours. Do the rest the next day and even the day after if needed. Doing all on the same day sounds like madness and a huge headache.
This is so good and so important. This site can be extremely defeating when many people talk about the 170+ score range. Your message of doing the best you can is much needed for all to hear. Thank you.
After the CC I scored a 152. Two months later after taking a Blueprint course, I scored a 157 official on a March LSAT. I then continued studying and was in the low 160s by the end of may and the mid 160's by the end of June. I get my July score bac…
I just spoke with an admissions officer at University of North Carolina (I know it is not T-14 but perhaps still relevant) and she gave me a good perspective on timing. UNC does not begin even looking at applications until at least November. In that…
There is no exact amount of time, but the comments above are correct in that there should be some general linear improvement. I got my first timed -0 after about six months of studying and after I had done at least 100 games. You can achieve mastery…
Gonna hop on the bandwagon and say you are doing too much. Max 2 PT's a week. I almost never studied more than 6 hours in one day ever. Take that time to BR and give your brain rest.
You will have an idea if this is happening if your BR score keeps increasing. Your timed score is the last thing to move. If your BR numbers continue to rise and you are studying consistently, one month is enough time to see some results.
Took me about 5 months get my first -0 timed LG. I played basically every game from 1-50 and most of the 60's by that point. I had done them timed, BR'ed them, 7saged them, and played them again.
Took March 2019 and just took July 2019, so similarish boat. Take at least a week, I took two last time, to just chill. Let your brain relax. In regards to how to stay motivated, keep visualizing why you are doing this in the first place. If you tru…
151 Diagnostic
Took 60-86 timed and LG Foolproofed basically all
Averaged around 165 after 7 months
Didn't start railing PT's until after 4.5 months of study
Sorry for a wishywashy answer, but I believe the answer is, it depends. If you are BRing in the high 160's, trending upwards, and get into the mid 170's by the end of August, that would indicate you are on the right track. It also depends on which s…
I am in the middle of the, almost, exact same score trajectory of which you described. Don't panic. What makes the next 5 point jump so difficult, as touched on above, is consistency and the fact that this final jump is, arguably, harder than the 20…
I have been studying for 7 months. Had a huge paradigm shifting improvement over 4 preptests. Since then, I have had a drop from my all time high and stabilized beneath it. A one time drop shouldn't freak you out. It may have been a horrible day or …
@CircleTurk I agree with the staying away from alcohol. Also try and get as consistent night sleep as possible. In regards to how many prep tests, there is not a specific number where you will start to see improvement. Just stay consistent with your…
While I did not have the same starting point as you, I got a tutor through the 7sage discussion page. It has totally revamped my entire outlook on the test. You should absolutely get some professional help especially if it is specifically about this…
My experience (to help you determine how useful my forthcoming advice is): Started studying around Thanksgiving 2018 for the March 2019 LSAT. Went from a 151 diagnostic to a 157. Not bad at all, but lots of room for improvement. In about 15ish weeks…
A really useful tip I took away from the webinar was about requesting fee waivers from schools. The advice was call. If somebody picks up the phone, they will either help you on the spot or give you an address to email where they know it will get an…
