Wow congrats on that. Thanks for all your insight that you contributed to this forum. It has definitely helped me at times throughout my LSAT prep. Best of luck at Harvard!

What I did in October worked like a charm. I woke up at 6am the entire week before the LSAT, and then the day before (Friday morning) I woke up at 4am. It was difficult to get out of bed, but I was dead tired by 8pm Friday night and passed out aroun…

"All of the lawyers I've met who went to this school are doing just fine" is completely meaningless. You're looking at a successful lawyer first, and then seeing where they went to school after the fact, when you SHOULD be s…
Some people on this forum might call for my head after I say this, but in complete honesty the lowest ranked school I would attend is South Texas College of Law in Houston, TX. The U.S. News ranking (2015) puts it at 146.
Why would I go to this law…
If it were me I would disclose it in a character & fitness addendum and talk about how it was an eye opening experience that caused you to take a look in the mirror/grow as a person/make positive changes in your life. There's way too much risk i…
Yes, yes, and yes please.
Would love to hear about your general approach for each section, and details about plateau's and breakthroughs during the course of your prep. Congratulations on the 180, and enjoy having law schools make it rain scholarsh…
Appreciate the feedback guys. I will definitely look to mix in 70's retakes with some of the fresh PT's that I have left and use some of the 70's for drilling.
Thank you for once again going above and beyond to help other 7sagers. Need this recording in my life please keep me posted as to when/how I can access that.
@nicole.hopkins I can see it now. Bryan Wilson, "The Texas Law Hawk" VS Jim Adler, "The Texas Hammer". WWE wrestling match or legal trial? Who knows. This is Texas.
I took a 13 day break from everything LSAT related after the Oct. exam. I took my first PT last Friday and also scored about 4 points below my average prior to October. Probably just rust. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless you start consiste…
For what it's worth I plan on retaking december after taking october. If I didn't retake I would feel like I wasn't doing everything in my power to score more scholarship money from law schools. It's worth spending the extra time/energy and the extr…
A lot of people in this thread are saying that practicing attorneys they know personally are telling them to "not go to law school", but in my experience I've heard the exact opposite. I work at a small "boutique" law firm that specializes in comple…
Decided today that I'm taking a week off to finish up my personal statement and update/re-format my resume. Already have my LOR's taken care of. After that it's back to the grind for December.
@petitigre I'm not the most familiar with the rules on posting specifics but I thought the same thing and thought that anything more than native americans would be too much.
Pretty much worst case scenario for me. I assumed that the test center would display a 35:00 min countdown on the projector in the test room, because a buddy of mine took the LSAT at the same university last year and they did exactly that. Of course…
Don't know if there's a right answer to this but for what its worth I will be waiting it out. Will make that call for December after I see my official score.
Agree with @leonsmoney 100%. Have been using a similar strategy the last four weeks. I've been doing more timed individual LR sections and especially more LG sections (avg about one section per day), and cut PT's back to 1 PT per week. My last three…
I've taken 70-74 the in the past month and in my opinion it feels like RC passages can be tougher, and with LG it seems like there is usually one weird game mixed in somewhere. However with that being said my score has stayed in the same range that …
Wow this is scary accurate for my last ten PT's/BR/initial diagnostic as well. Also started prepping early March. I've been having similar thoughts as you in regards to peaking. I can't say for sure if we have peaked in general, but I feel pretty co…
You can give it a try and see if it works for you, but I think you're risking getting burnt out. If you plan on taking October that sounds a little risky to me to risk getting burnt out so close to test day.
I mark up almost every question in LR that has an argument in it. I don't label anything using letters, but I do underline main conclusions and bracket premises.
Really interested as to what others are doing in this regard as well. I never do any questions prior to taking a timed PT and wonder if this could negatively impact my score?
