A 161 is a great score but with some more time I'm sure you could crack 170. If you are able to do so, you'll have so many more options available to you. You should do what feels right for you, but I would definitely wait and boost your LSAT score a…

@DCGirl107 I would choose UVA without question, especially if you want biglaw or any other similarly competitive job. I'm also really interested in working in DC and from what I've heard, besides HYS, UVA is the best school to attend. The connection…
@westcoastbestcoast My diagnostic was a 141, which I know is horrible but it was the first time I ever even looked at the test. That was all the way back in the summer and I feel like I've come a long way since then. I can also devote a lot of time …
If you still feel uncomfortable with LR, I would suggest untimed and do timed sections as you progress. It’s better to focus on accuracy before speed but eventually you’ll get faster.
@"surfy surf" I didn't know that! I plan on blanketing the T14 when I apply next year but I honestly think I'm going to leave UPenn off my list. I'm are there are amazing things about the school but going there does not excite me at all. I'm much mo…
I would agree if I had to but I would definitely try to have a stimulation-free scholarship if at all possible. I do know that many law schools will purposely group those people who have the same scholarship in the same section so you'll all have cl…
Hi @gaflparalegal
To be completely honest with you, the LSAT Trainer did not help me at all aside from teaching me very, very basic things such as what is the premise, conclusion, etc. of an argument and the different question stems. It's terrible…
Is this official? Last year's rankings are still on the USNWR website. It's interesting how much Berkley moved up and Georgetown reclaimed its spot in the T14.
I don't have any advice but I just wanted to say congratulations. Getting an interview is an accomplishment in itself and a good sign that you'll be admitted.
I'm no expert on this because I haven't taken the test yet but it generally takes about a few weeks to receive your score. So if you were to take the test in July and apply to schools in the fall you will know you score well in advance.
@Brian_LSAT Congratulations Brian! I'm sure you'll have your pick of schools. If you don't mind me asking, what was your diagnostic and what was your study schedule like?
@gaflparalegal I'll admit that I read that analogy elsewhere but I never forgot it once I read it. I was one of those people who thought if you didn't do well on your first test you were doomed for failure. I literally made myself sick from worrying…
7Sage is great for people at all levels and is really the only resource that you need to study it's that good. I'm on the Starter course and I'm planning on upgrading to Ultimate+. I also scored low on my diagnostic. Like most people, I was very dis…
