I do not want to think of a backup plan right now, so that I won't lose sight of this goal. If worse comes to worse, I'm currently an accounting and finance major so I would just go into that field (investment banking, corporate firms etc).

Hi @Simbatron, yes it is necessary for you to request it. They need the transcripts from any undergraduate institution you attended.

Once you are registered with the CAS, law schools obtain your information and based on that they send you fee waivers (correct me if I'm wrong). I hope this helps.

I used to check the field rankings too, but at the end of the day like @"Alex Divine" said the general ranking is a better predictor.
