  • Get used to it. Many legal documents you will hopefully one day read are not interesting in and of themselves. The interesting thing about them is that by reading them you gain an understanding of them and how you can use them to answer questions of…
  • If you PM the link to me, I'll read them sometime and give advice. Feel free to ignore some of it though. You are the ultimate decider here and most of us don't know much more about these things than you. That said extra eyes and perspectives are al…
  • @catgonzalez1974 is basically doing what I would recommend. However if you aren't where @catgonzalez1974 is in logic games I would recommend foolproofing. I scored 1 point below my goal last February which inspired me to foolproof logic games and …
  • If you can get the 170 you ought to get into a Top 14 if you blanket them. Look at this link for your chances. There are two caveats. First it is including all non-African American URMs. I think that should fit you fairly well, but it is definitely…
  • @Rtwrtw8 said: Hey @"Seeking Perfection" is there a source that US News uses LSAC's GPA when ranking law schools as opposed to GPAs listed on the students' transcripts? If so, I suppose there is an incentive. However, GPA policies differ …
  • @ATLsat_2019 said: @Rtwrtw8 said: Some universities also don't really consider LSAC's GPA (some schools have their own way of calculating applicants' GPAs) so there's also that. @Rtwrtw8 Anyone know if/which schools calcula…
  • @"David.Busis" said: I used to think applying in Sept or Oct was vital, but how much of a difference is there when you apply after only 10% of the applications are in vs. 40-50%. So glad you asked! As it happens, we just analyze…
  • PTing and blind reviewing will do you some good on its own, but what it is great at is identifying what you need to focus on. People who blind review get a bigger pool of questions to look at than if they just did the PTs and scored them. This pool…
  • @"Leah M B" said: I don't believe you would be considered URM. Typically, URMs are only black/African American, Native American, Mexican and Puerto Rican. Obviously you would be a minority (and I could see you writing a really interesting pers…
  • @"Return On Inference" said: Hi all, I recently jumped from doing PTs in the 40s to PTs in the 70s in preparation of the June exam. What I've noticed is that the LR sections in the 70s seem to contain a lot more 'odd-ball' argument forms.…

  • @AudaciousRed said: Black Ticonderoga HB #2's have become my favorite so far. using the bathroom on test day aka LSAT suicide What's this now? Going to the bathroom on the break is fine, but if you need to go during one of …
  • Possibly Crazy/Strict/Interesting tip that worked: Take two 4 section PTs back to back to get more PTs in with less risk of burning out and strengthen testing endurance. Just move the break from after the third section to between the tests. Bring …
  • I too was summoned by @keets993. For me I started in the high 160s and worked my way up to the high 170's getting lucky and scoring a 180 on my retake. I like almost everyone had a long plateau where it was hard to improve. My diagnostic was a 168…
  • @mjmonte17 said: @"Seeking Perfection" Nice, thanks for the input! Two PTs a day is a lot for one day, but if you were in the 170s already you likely didn't have that much to BR. I am going to shoot for 3/4 PTs a week and see where that takes …
  • I took two PTs essentially every Saturday over last summer and also through in one or two more sometime over the week. I was always able to finish my blind review the day of. Thus was because I really wanted to know how I had scored as soon as possi…
  • @"Return On Inference" said: As far as the morning vs afternoon part, I doubt it will make that much of a difference. I took PTs everywhere from 5 am in the morning to one I started at midnight with largely the same scores. Jus…
  • People usually have a little jump just from the CC. I didn't, but I had already taken the test. The CC shows uou how to do any LSAT question, but you have to practice to get good at them.
  • As far as the morning vs afternoon part, I doubt it will make that much of a difference. I took PTs everywhere from 5 am in the morning to one I started at midnight with largely the same scores. Just take a few PTs in the afternoon if you can.
  • Definitely take a practice test. But if it is close as to what section needs the most work, work on logic games. Foolproofing some logic games is usually the clearest way to improve out of any section.
  • I would stick to 7 sage and would foolproof games 1-35 right after you finish the core curriculum if I were you. I used Powerscore which was fine before 7 sage, but some of their methods are different(and not really compatible) and since eventually …
  • @AudaciousRed said: Just a thought here.. but I could think of a reason why this could and would be used: rich applicants with sucky scores. A school could let in a rich and/or famously connected applicant without requiring a test score, right…
  • $3000 plus is insane. At that point I hope it doesn't work because if it does non-wealthy applicants are going to frequently get priced out of law school admissions. That said I would say if you have the money and also have the money to apply to a …

  • Everyone does have their own tolerance and line for debt. For me I either wanted a full tuition scholarship or to be some place in the Top 14 where I could be confident of using Big Law to pay off the debt. If you feel like your current offer is c…

  • @teamteamvicster said: @"Seeking Perfection" just to clarify, you would do a set of 4 games for a 35 minute section? And have a lap timer to see time on individual games? Would you recommend this over fool-proofing individual games? I'm moving…
  • I printed them each 4 times for Pacifico's Logic Games Attack Strategy. I also printed them in my printer's draft mode which was faster and used less ink. That was as far as I was willing to go to skimp on paper and ink since it is doing games mult…
  • So doing logic games would probably be beyond the pale? What do people normally do during the down time and what things books, phone, paper, flahcards, ect would be okay to have with you?
