Curious because I'm considering UVA, how long have you been out of UG?
I have a complicated story. I started undergrad in 2008 and failed miserably. Joined the Marine Corps from 2010-2014, went back to undergrad in 2015 and g…
Kamala Harris (Senator of California) went to U.C. Hastings School of Law. Hastings is currently ranked 54 on USN. I think this might answer your question
School ranking is fairly important for jobs, but as much as people like to say it is, it is …
No it is not true. You have to send every transcript you have to the LSAC for them to calculate your GPA. They will take those credits into consideration. This means your community college as well as undergrad.

@tringo335 I just can't nail down an event that changed my life, other than the Marine Corps, but I don't want to be that guy that just falls on the "I'm a vet, do things for me" card. I want…
This might sound counter intuitive but stop using lawgic unless the stim is EXTREMELY heavy with conditional statements.
For SA questions my mindset always goes right to, "where is the gap in this chain?" and I do it without going to lawgic unless …

@AnthonyScalia This is really solid advice, thank you so much. This is hopefully what will help me break through.

I would say tutor. I have experience with both BluePrint and Testmasters classes and I can say without a doubt you will not get what you are looking for. The class will be about 10-20 people and the class will keep moving even when you are stuck. Th…

I started out feeling exactly like this. Now I get really, really mad at wrong answer choices. Instead of looking at the test trying to make things right, I try and make them wrong. This means by the time I get to answer choice E, I've probably alre…
@"Alex Divine" @Victoria14 thanks guys, I guess my real issue is I wouldn’t know how to write and entire addendum about the Yellow Ribbon Program.
“Yes I fully qualify” is all I need to say haha
Hard truth is that in order to get where you want to be on the LSAT, for most people, it takes forever. This is not a test you can rush and just study for a month to preform well on, unless your goals for improvement are not drastic.

“Derive solely from” is really strong language.
The way I approached it was to translate the phrase:
“Derive solely from” = “can only come from”
For instance;
something’s value can only come from the pleasure it provides.
In which case;

I don't think it will matter too much. The teacher still had to be the judge of your academic performance, which is what Law Schools are interested in. Just because the class wasn't in person, doesn't mean the teacher doesn't have a sense of your wo…
