It’s going to feel like that all the way until June. My advice is to just do your best to stop worrying about it. (I know easier said then done)
For some perspective on how long it could take; I got accepted off the waitlist in mid-August (three da…

@LSAT_Wrecker Being an older millennial, we had sort of an in-between version of typing lessons. I vaguely remember some sort of typing lesson that was not on an actual type writer but I feel like they were some sort of porta…

The upside is: I’ve learned a TON about my study habits, what worked for me, what didn’t work for me, and know what I need to change to hopefully improve!
@LSATcantwin Hi! Could you talk…
Wow! You and I had almost identical experiences with our first semester of 1L. My grades were very close to yours as well.
I can say one thing for sure, no matter how you prep for your first semester, nothing other than going through it can fully p…

In order to be a court bailiff you need to be a police officer. That position would take more than a year to get into.
Paralegal is more accessible, but be careful a lot of states/jobs require you to have a paralegal certificate (also longer than a…
They’re freaking expensive. They are like a down payment on your spot at the school. Each school you are accepted to will have a “deadline” where you need to submit a seat deposit securing your spot in the class.
This becomes and issue for people w…
The wait sucks. Trust me, I know. I submitted my apps in Jan last year, and didn’t get accepted anywhere until August. Keep your head high and be patient! It’ll come. (Also stay off reddit and other forms, all those places did was increase my anxiet…

What does the curve mean?
Curve is how many you miss to get a 170. So a curve of -11 is a more “forgiving” curve than one of -9. The problem is, the bigger the curve the harder the test!

I’m a 1L at NU. Your first two semesters will have very little to do with arguing. Moot court is not part of the 1L core curriculum. Yo…
Mmm I wouldn’t worry too much about that lol at a lot of schools you have to get past your 1L doctrinals before you even consider those sorts of classes. I would just enjoy the free time now, as 1L is a lot of work.
One thing you’ll learn very quickly through this whole process is to just do what works for you. Ignore others, it does nothing but get in your way.
I know many people who brought parents to admitted students weekend. I know many more who brought t…

Just curious, will we get an Android version too? I have a Samsung Android, haven't used iOS for nearly a decade. A lot of people are probably exclusive Android users too, like me.
