  • If you've been studying already then I would say just go ahead and start taking PTs. As you begin to notice certain question types that are giving you a hard time, visit those lessons in the Core Curriculum as needed.
  • I'm really not sure what you're asking. Are you asking how to negate an if-then relationship, as in taking the contrapositive?
  • @EagerestBeaver said: Take at least a week, I took two last time, to just chill. Let your brain relax. seconded.
  • @KarateMaster said: @Lolo1996 Thank you for your encouragement! I needed this! I’m just having a cold feet seeing so many people complaining how hard the July test was. There's probably a bit of selection bias going on. On average, one w…
  • @hhhakobian said: How come I shouldn't do it on before or on test day? Surely since I'm studying/PTing with IF then reducing the variables between study/actual test would be good? Unless it just doesn't work at all with LSAT I suppose I was …
  • I went through the Trainer before coming to 7Sage. I purchased Ultimate+ for access to all the LSAT PDFs. To be fair, I work full time and although I didn't like the idea of spending the money when I had already gone through the Trainer, I was able …
  • For LR or RC, I don't think so. For LG you can download the youtube videos. This can either be done with YouTube Premium (currently ~$17 a month, but there may be a free trial too) or using some third party software.
  • Try drilling questions in the question bank. Filter on whatever question type you are interested in, using the old LSATs, and only level 4 or 5 difficulty. I feel like this is what helped bump me from consisntely scoring low 170s to mid-to-high 170s…
  • I have experience with IMF and am a fan. Tip: don't do it on the days leading up to test day, and certainly not on test day. Make sure you are neither hungry nor dehydrated going into the exam, and try not to drink much in the couple hours prior to…
  • You can only ED multiple schools if one or none of them is binding. Non-binding ED (sometimes called Early Action) is not as common as binding ED. I believe ED at both UVA and Cornell are binding, so no you cannot apply ED to both of them. That bei…
  • Seems effective, but not overly burdensome which is good. If I were to nit-pick, perhaps I'd suggest switching Thurs & Fri to better spread out your LR sections. Also consider keeping a running list of tips/advice to yourself that you gather du…
  • @candicema0854 said: Hey guys, Am I still suitable for LSAT? Yes. A lot of people have a diagnostic score similar to yours and go on to score in the mid 160s or higher after a few months of studying. People also commonly get 10 or more w…
  • @ciacduan said: ...I have learnt LSAT fundamentals in the last one and half month and do feel have a good understanding now, however need to significantly improve my performance with speed, or I do not get to one quarter of the section or even…
  • I've seen a variety of answers to this question, ranging from "no real change" to "probably." It seems like nobody really knows for sure.
  • It doesn't exactly matter which you choose, so long as you complete several of the most recent PTs (80-87). But unless you plan on completing a ton of PTs, there is no need to start as far back as PT36 -- PT 70 is likely to be more emblematic of wha…

  • I tend to agree with what @Alex has said. But if I had to make another suggestion, it would be The Economist, as it covers a wide array of topics, has many somewhat short articles, and assumes an educated audience. If that's inaccessible, there is a…
  • @zacharytsmith26 said: If you have time to switch methods, you could try not annotation/highlighting at all and just memorizing a short summary of each paragraph as you go. Digital has forced me not to annotate and I am getting more right and …
  • @"Positively LSAT Street" You did poorly on LG -- which is to be expected on someone's diagnostic test. The good news is that many people find LG the easiest to improve upon (though not necessarily to perfect, i.e. going -0). With your LG score, I…
  • @"Kimberly-4" said: When you all say "CC" does this mean the core curriculum? Yes. I am also planning on taking the September LSAT, and have been going back and forth about whether I should finish the core curriculum and then continue wi…
  • @"joshua.cayetano" said: I'm worried about the PT --> actual score drop-off. Anyone else taking September LSAT? You can mitigate this somewhat by trying to simulate test day as much as possible. It could be worth doing this once a week ju…
  • He probably just does it to be more explicit. You're not missing anything.
  • I'd suggest you do a bit of warm up that morning but there's probably no need to bring them to the testing center... You've (likely) studied for months, so just relax your brain, talk to the other people and see how they are even more nervous than y…
  • I cannot see us losing the advantages of July 15th LSAT due to a natural disaster... .... why? If you don't end up sitting for the exam this month (for whatever reason), I would be quite surprised if you got those advantages at a future date. I…
  • If you plan on sitting for the exam in September, I recommend you start taking PTs by the end of the month. Take one a week for now and think about it as a way to gauge where you are, where you should spend more time focusing, etc.
  • Your score may be inflated, but probably not by much. I was in a similar position and only had 3 fresh PTs (I took about a year off). I retook 10 or so PTs I had done before and was surprised by how little I remembered. Sure, I recalled the topics o…
  • Some sort of marking system similar to that which @"Habeas Porpoise" has outlined is a good strategy. I only used two symbols: a circle, meaning I was unsure and would like to go back to it, and a Q, which meant I did this question very quickly (som…
  • Unless you plan on seriously cranking out most of the PTs, I'd agree with @s324g23423 and just skip PTs 1-35. Though they can occasionally be useful for seeing some odd miscellaneous-type LGs. That leaves over 50 additional PTs, which I'd think is m…
  • I agree with what @MissChanandler said. It has traditionally been around 3 weeks for the paper version. One would have to think that the fully digital version would have a similar or shorter waiting period. So it should be before Thanksgiving.
