This is really inspiring stuff. I decided to wait a cycle and not take the November test when I got a 155 in September. I am also seeing massive progress in my process since November. Keep going. "We quit at the end,…
For 3. I'm having a little trouble understanding, if in any of your gameboards something CBF then the thing you found qualifies as a CBF. Ie if X can't go in slot 3 in 3/6 gameboards, or even 1 gameboard, it CBF. Ya 5 is saying the same thing as MBF…
Ya finding the first conclusion and then picking it is a bad idea for the reasons given above. No joke there are 170+ main conclusion questions and they can be very hard to catch. For the harder ones you have to be able to show which phrases support…
Here there are 2 reasons D is wrong. 1, it's a stretch to say P's conclusion is a hypothesis. Technically it is a conclusion supported by premises, but typically the LSAT won't call every conclusion a hypothesis. In the explanation video JY doesn't …
To extrapolate on the previous comment, I believe a lot of big law firms basically require you to graduate from a T14 school. I know of some people, ie the valedictorian and law journal president from a very low ranked school, who was able to get in…

Hi JY, I would like to join the BR, but just not ready to take PT89 (want to save it for a later time). Would the session be recorded?
Just to save you time they won't be recorded, I asked too

@Markmark Sorry, I am worried about LSAC.
@"J.Y. Ping" Didn't someone join a BR call with the name "LSAC something something?" I heard that on the last recording, that was pretty funny. Btw a lot of the material you and yo…
Jy I saw this won't be recorded, is there any way to record the audio and post it on SoundCloud like previous BR calls you've done? I've benefitted tremendously from those and seen immediate improvement, especially with your RC strategy for reading …
O yea JY has a strategy too for the two-author passages. You read passage A and go through the questions, eliminating as many ACs as you can. Then you read B and try to eliminate and choose ACs. This style works for me.
Try reading with an eye for the author's opinion / perspective, and when answering questions look for misplaced adjectives, superlatives, modality.. Ie if an AC says "all" and what I need is just "some," that's a big no no. Paying attention to adver…
Hi all thank you for your responses!! The group has 3 people now so we won't be taking any more people right now. For whoever is still looking for a group this thread took me a few minutes to make and within a couple days there were already a lot of…
If you really want a headstart I've begun compiling a list of books for me to start as soon as I get to your position ^^ "1L of a ride," "Short and easy guide to (Torts)" but there are more short and easy books. And help us ^^
I wasn't able to type more last night but the link I posted was when I asked for a tutor or high scoring study buddy and I got lots of responses so you can look at that if you'd like

I think it depends. Just because you're more of a natural at the LSAT won't mean that you'll breeze your way through law school and the other person would struggle. Plus I wouldn't say just because you studied little for the …

I don’t think you can fake the LSAT well enough to be disadvantaged. In theory, the same level of reasoning will be required by the same test to get the same score. While studying for the exam we actually are …
