I just use notations when dealing with arguments. I put MC for main conclusion, SC for sub conclusion, and the premises I just put a P next to. I don't know for others, but it does help me concentrate on analysing the argument.
Well, assuming that you're really good at LR and RC to make up for it, then yeah, sure. But, I would advise against it. LG is one of the easier things about the LSAT to get a hang of. Just keep drilling and working away at it.
I would most definitely start with the more recent Pt's. If you can crunch 15 PT's by the time Dec rolls around, then do PT 60-75. This will give you exposure to the comparative reading passages and the more convoluted RC passages.
This advice abo…

I fell prey to the same trap answer choice even with unlimited time. What is your hypothesis for why that is?
Hey goalis180, when falling for trap answer choices, what do you notice most? Do you separate the answer choices based o…
Hi Kevin, yeah, I would recommend drilling on questions with high priority. Try to see why you're having a tough time with these questions and what's making you consistently miss them.
For RC, it depends, is time an issue? Are you getting most que…
Honestly, for nonsensical answer choices which are extremely out of scope or irrelevant, I just write up a few words describing what makes them stupid. For other answer choices which are traps or extremely convoluted, I try to dig in deeper to see w…
Welll, for printed out PT's on separate pages, after finishing the first question, I usually overlap the second page over the first so to see my rules closer to the questions on the second page. During the administered PT, you will have a booklet so…
I'm glad you found 7 Sage! I was in a similar boat as yourself. I overpaid for a prep course which costed me 1200$, gave up half way due to being confused as hell, signed up for 7sage and haven't looked back ever since. If I had actually done some r…
It comes with time and practice. As you do more tests and BR them really carefully, you'll solidify your understanding and be more confident when facing a tough game, passage, or LR question under timed conditions.
The biggest thing for me was und…

Where did you hear that LG was hard? People on TLS seemed to think it was fairly standard.
A lot of people were saying they were tough right after the exam. But as HollywoodActor said, it's most likely due to people psych…

By how hard everyone is saying the LG is on this exam, I'm probably gonna be pouring myself a drink like that after taking it haha.
Hey Tosin, is this the question about scientific and technological discoveries and their effects on the development of society? (what I have in pt 26, s3, question 09).
If so, what makes A more appealing to you than C? Because A introduces a new …

If I wasn't practicing law I would definitely resume my Mandarin studies and learn to code so I could write scripts to spam LSAT prep forums for no reason... I mean for profit...
Lmao this is epic.
I'm not sure about others, but what I tend to do is to really dig deep into the structure of the passage, look for keywords, see how evidence is used to prove certain points, what the author is suggesting and what their tone is, etc. I also try and …
Hi goalis180, aside from what c.janson said, I would recommend taking more recent PT's (36 and up) to more accurately represent the more recent exams. I used the older Pts to drill as to not waste any of the fresher copies for timed PTs.

Hahahahaha that video is gold. Seriously needed it after studying for a couple of hours.
Hey Mike, If you live in Canada I could advise you with the application process, but if you're in the US, I'm sure some of the guys here will assist you.

I have a similar cheaper watch I got for around 20$. It counts down from 35 to 0 (my only complaint) and it seems to do the trick pretty well. The 180 watch looks really nice, though.

If you just think of the gaps in the argument as flaws
This is exactly what I do when approaching these questions types. I always ask myself what the argument has assumed or failed to consider, and try to fix it based on that flaw.…
I don't think it's available for the proctored web version. But, I've seen some students use other methods of distraction in conjunction with the web proctor if they don't have the app.
This is one of them:
It's library background noise which kin…
I can't really comment about the required lsat score for the schools you wish to get into, but, if you think you can score better (and you can) you should push back your test date. I know it's not something you want to hear, since I'm sure you're ea…
You blind review after you finish the exam. You don't blind review during an actual timed exam.
Don't time yourself when you blind review, after all, this is the opportunity to really get down to the core of the exam and be 100% why the right answe…
Unless cambridge lsat still sells them in PDF format or you saved them onto your computer from 7sage before LSACs new policy went into effect, you will need to purchase them in paper format.

This move from the LSAC is just another typical one in an industry with a government protected monopoly...
This is so true. At this point, LSAC can pretty much do anything short of breaking the law and get away with it.
