  • @Aidoe said: @Mellow_Z Thanks for the suggestions. It's a small firm so there's no chance of being moved to a less stressful position. I still think the issue hinges not on debt but on not having a strong reference for future legal prospects. …

  • @jeffsimo28 said: I've been really struggling with LR timing. I watched the webinar here (https://classic.7sage.com/webinar/timing-and-levels-of-certainty/), in which they suggested not spending more than 3 minutes or so on a question because …
  • @Aidoe said: I think I'll take the plunge. Quit, rely solely on my savings, and study my life out for the next few months. Hopefully, I'll find a job as soon as I finish with the test. May not have much saved up for law school, but I'll rely s…

  • @CinnamonTea said: Just curious, when is this starting up? There are 92 comments already so interest won't be an issue. Apologies if this was answered already :P We're waiting on some administration details to be resolved. I'd like to have …

  • @akistotle said: Have you foolproofed all the games? If not, I recommend foolproofing all the games in LG Bundle (PT1-35). Also I have been using a slightly altered version of @Pacifico's LG attack strategy: https://classic.7sage.com/d…
  • I'm bumping this up because a lot of people have been asking/mentioning fool proofing Logic Games recently (due to the large number of september takers starting their studies more than likely).

  • @Aidoe said: Thank you both for your responses. But the thing is I'm not concerned about getting a letter of recommendation for law school so much as I'm concerned about getting a reference for future jobs. Sorry for misunderstanding! Eithe…

  • My current go to pencils are the Staedler Norica's and Staedler Wopex. Sharpener is Kum long point (non-branded blackwing), and erasers are pentel block erasers. We went at it in the linked threads for a long time before I arrived to these conclus…
  • I agree ^. The higher score is more important. As long as you can find another job to pay your bills, I wouldn't lose any sleep about losing the job just because you won't get a LoR. The only exception with my last statement is if you don't have …

  • @LSATShinobi I think they start sending waivers based on the application cycle. You likely won't see any start to come in for the next cycle (fall 2018) until closer to when apps open (september 2017)
  • @givemethe170 said: I'm worried as someone who is planning to take the LSAT a 3rd time on September. Will this mean that schools will potentially go back to considering all previous LSAT scores instead of just looking at the highest one? I hop…
  • Use these forums as a social aspect if not just as a study tool. These people (we) are also going through the same battles that you are you. We can relate to the LSAT struggles, unlike your friends and family members who haven't gone through a sim…
  • @dennisgerrard said: I would say it lowers the requirement for LSAT takers.Yet, multiple taking is not encouraged. For top law schools, they will know if they know you take many times. Generally, I will say it's a good news. Why would it l…
  • @TheoryandPractice said: @Mellow_Z really? Has the policy changed recently? Even like 5 years back that seemed to be the dominant practice The reason they don't care, is because the lower scores don't get reported. If the ABA required schoo…
  • @TheoryandPractice said: Hmm given that most law schools still expect you to take the lsat only once or else avg the scores, I don't view this as a game changer. It is a different story, however, if lsac were to allow us to only send the best …
  • I also started with the Starter account and upgraded to U+. The problem sets and question banks/explanations are irreplaceable. There is no better way of drilling questions, especially when you can sort by type through every LSAT ever released.

  • If you think you signed up for the LSAT too early, why not postpone? At this point, you are applying for the fall '18 cycle whether you sit for June or September, so I would highly recommend changing your test date and waiting until you are ready t…
