@"Cant Get Right" @"Alex Divine" @"Maddie Distasio"
I've been using this week as an RC intensive. It used to be my strongest section, but improvement in LR and LG have forced me to address what I always assumed was a given: RC. Anyway, I've been pi…
@jchamberlainf
Yea i think that is mostly right. But I have Ws on my transcript which are not counted as zero grades from that same institution because i withdrew within the allotted time frame (i think 2 weeks). My late drops are considered zero g…
Thanks @"Cant Get Right"
I can tell you already, I'll be much more comfortable taking 3-4 on a read. At present, I do some annotation but it is not uniform nor consistent. Nicol's strategy ain't for me -- just too much. But I think I do need some c…
One interesting approach I have heard is to take the PTs out of order. For example, 51, 61, 71, 52, 62, 72, etc, etc. That will give you exposure to the newer tests and their differences without burning through them.
How many tests have you used? All 80+ of them?
For me, my skipping strategy has covered this. I don't feel rushed because if something doesn't click, I just skip it. That calms me down and I probably go even faster because I don't feel pressured to…

i think my approach to these questions is to rely heavily on prephrasing. Much of the time, you can tease out areas of agreement, disagreement, and most importantly, not mentioned, before entering the AC. The AC seem extra dangerous in these questi…
@"Paul Pederson" If you are consistently getting a QT right (90+% accuracy), then the chances of it being luck are quite low in my opinion. Once you feel very confident in BR and observe a clear pattern of consistency, then I would recommend impleme…
@tylerdschreur10 I gotcha. Having printable access to all PTs ever is also a big plus for me. But you're right in the fact that 7Sage offers a ton of benefits free of charge.
Did you get your 170 using ultimate+?
What @"Alex Divine" said. The reason one only reviews questions one circled, is to calibrate your confidence and ID patterns. By redoing the whole test, you lose out on a lot of really useful info. For example, did you miss a question which you did …
@"Accounts Playable" playable spoke about this specifically during his webinar: meditation. As my PTs begin climb, and there is lesser and lesser room for area, i will need to consider the same question you are asking.
to add to what's been said, i trained myself to skip long before i got trapped in a fishing expedition. usually, if you answer a question in a minute or less, you nailed it nuts to bolts -- there's a good chance you saw past all the tricks and hunte…
@"vanessa fisher" thanks for the context. Perhaps I should reconsider. Honestly, I haven't given T14 much consideration at all for 2 reasons. First, I am placing a big priority on scholarships. Second, I am really turned off by the idea of Big Law a…
I often tell applicants that applying to Yale Law School is a lot like playing blackjack. The odds are on the house, there's more than a little luck involved, but there are a few basic rules you can follow to increase your chances significantly. …
I am falling into this category as well @afios134 . Not only am I 5 years out, but I never developed any meaningful relationships with professors. I reached out to a professor who was likely to remember me and we chatted on the phone. He agreed to w…
The best test for aptitude is a test that is taken without studying. Arguably, a great score after intense studying shows little more than work ethic. Nothing to sneeze at, but not what an aptitude test is supposed to measure.
Hm. I can't help …
UGH. In a most embarrassing move, i have been misusing my palomino sharpener since the day i got it. never read the instructions for hole #1 vs hole #2 (bring on the puns). i've totally worn down the blade and have bought a new sharpener.
From the minimal research i've done, the GRE does not seem to be as difficult at the LSAT in general terms. I may delay my application because of a timing issue, and if that is the case, i may just take the GRE for shits and gigs after some prep.
F…
With this in mind, starting in Fall 2018, Northwestern Law will allow JD applicants to submit either the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT) for admission the following year (Fall 2019).
Interesting! thank…
Ah I see what you are saying. I confused "provide reasons" with "provide support". The author does make an argument in that he has stated a premise and a conclusion which he believes that premise supports (eliminating D). But there is little (i thin…
You're right; there is no conditional logic. I just use it as shorthand sometimes because it portrays the structure very well, but i understand there is no conditional relationship between these things. when i read my notes as they are typed in the …
Yea I see what you mean. "selfish individualism" is a particular kind of individualism... the selfish kind. That is not the same as "selfishness". But that is precisely my difficulty in eliminating A.
I agree with E. The argument does, in fact, use…
