Or, is it the other way around instead?
Since Bill did steal the cookies he probably had the chance to steal the cookies. This specific example doesn't make a lot of sense but I was wondering what is mistaken for what.
Right. I ha…
@flashyyyy I want to make sure I understand your problem with D before I respond further.
You're saying that we do not know whether a twin watching their twin would see themself or see their twin. If they see themself, this weakens. If they don't, …
Let me back up a little bit. I hope I don't confuse you.
If A then always B
If A then generally B
If A then maybe B
The If/Then construction clues us into the the presence of conditionality. The words "always", "generally", and "maybe" clue us i…
Right on! I underperformed on June and did the same: back on the horse and ready for July.
I BRed my June test more throroughly than any other and I had a damn thorough BR process to begin w. I got real familiar w the error I made. I realized that …
P.S.
Difficult weakening questions rarely "destroy" or clearly, unequivocally weaken an argument. We need to apply the same degree of criticism to all AC and choose the best one. In BR, we can get more familiar with the nuances of subtle correct AC…
I don't see how this is such an extreme assumption. They both play on viewing one's likeness.
Let's say it is, though, for the sake of argument. This is a phenomena/hypothesis structure (cookie cutter). There are plenty of ways to weaken this type …
"Might" is not the conditional indicator in that that sentence; it's part of one of the terms. This sentence is an "If/Then" construction where A = Jack is smart and B = jack might eat healthy. You've omitted "then" but it doesn't change the logic o…
You asked " What is the best way to attain my goal considering im a student and dont have 40hrs a week to study?"
My advice is to follow the curriculum and Sage advice for post-cc (links below). Reevaluate your situation in February.
There are no …
@agasich07 No problem! Delaying is a difficult decision to make but you have to do what is best for yourself.
P.S.
5) It's disclosed which mean's you'll have access to it in 7Sage in 5 weeks. You're not missing out on a PT by skipping. If you sit …
@agasich07 My advice, then, is to not take November. LG is the most improvable section. With continued practice, you've got a very good shot at reaching that 165 but it's highly unlikely that you will next week.
There are unlimited takes but you sh…
Congrats!!
My advice: Don't get too attached to the score. We tend to be disappointed with any sub-170 score once we score 170. Your approach is working. Keep applying it to find some consistency.
@annieg17 I filled a binder with questions I had difficulty with (missed or missed in BR) and studied their structure. What I found was that cookie cutters appear just as often in other question types as they do in flaw questions and once I was abl…
Do well on the lsat. Write a thoughtful ps and proofread it—same goes for all submissions. Apply as early as you can.
Don’t get shot. Even opportunistically.
Wouldn’t think about the LSAT again until your GPA is finalized. Throw everything you got at increasing your GPA. Don’t underestimate the benefit of a 0.1 increase there. Lots of us would do anything to have a chance to increase GPA but we can’t.
I don’t see what creativity and reasoning can be used for accounting when we have pre existing technology for that.
lol I don't want to defend the question because I think it's terribly, unnecessarily cruel and unhelpful for whoever asks it. Bu…
I just did my in-person interview w them today... didn’t get anything like that lol.
Sounds like they want to see creativity and good reasoning. But damn. I don’t know what I’d say if asked this live.
I used the addendum to provide context on my GPA and multiple LSATs. They are free to disregard my context, but I offer it nonetheless because it can only help and most schools ask for it anyway in the case of score increases.
@Bamboosprout
I'm curious. How did you explain it?
In boring fashion. Just the facts. I said that I had prepared for my 159 but redoubled my efforts following that--improving my study methods and eventually tutoring students. The 164 was the r…
@ecarr_12
@NotMyName not on the topic of addendums, but how did you make that jump ? Any discussion threads you can direct me to where you talk about your method perhaps
The 164>174 wasn't a jump... just underperformed the 164. I'm doing an…
