@LivePumpkin No. It won't help you to just drill questions if you don't have the fundamentals down. You should get some prep material to learn the theory underlying assumption/principle questions. The Powerscore bible is a good foundation, but imo …
@thisissparta He took 4 years off of school before applying. He worked on the Obama 2012 campaign, a couple of mid-term elections in between, and then Hillary 2016 where I met him lol.
That being said his work experience on the campaigns wasn't any…
Just throwing this out there - knew a guy who had a 2.7 GPA from a meh undergrad institution. Got a 177 on his LSAT, got into every T-14 school besides Stanford and Yale (yep, got into Harvard). He now goes to UVA because they gave him a full ride.
I'd say so yes. So long as there isn't a better answer choice that strengthens the argument as a whole. Make sure it strengthens something directly, and you don't have to make a bunch of assumptions in order for it to strengthen.

@TheMikey I think this is a perfect example of that:

Look how tempting answer choice B is. After deliberating for a while, I eliminated it simply because of the conditional…
I always translate these statements into their positive versions, then diagram their contrapositives. For example:
I will not do well on the LSAT unless I study.
If I do well on the test, I must have studied.
DW -> S
S/ -> DW/
From what I heard, PT 81 had difficult LR and medium-difficulty RC. The problem was that the LG was super easy. LG oftentimes sets the curve - unprepared people usually do really badly on it. If you're very prepared though, a difficult LG section - …
for LR master the question types so they're second nature, but also understand the stimulus. You lose time in the ACs, not the stimulus. Read it, understand it before you move on. If you have to re-read a sentence because you didn't understand it, d…
I was the same way. If I had infinite time, I could easily BR 178+ - it's the time pressure that kills you!
Something that helped me was approaching LR and RC like J.Y. does in his explanation videos. Like read an AC very suspiciously, and be VERY …
Yaaas please. I haven't written mine yet tbh but I'd love to get some of your eyes on mine. I'd be happy to look at some of your statements as well. PM me!
Heh I was the complete opposite of you. I really got wrecked in LR in the 40s, but I'm doing well in the LR for 60s and 70s.
There's definitely a difference between the 40s and more recent exams. You'll have to adapt
@BinghamtonDave Question 16 was the one I had to draw out.
Question 5 used almost the exact mechanism used in a question in PT 70 (which I took yesterday), so I got that one "intuitively."
@uninberg No I haven't. That's a good idea to scan for a r…
They won't let you change it, but as @SimiKaur said it's largely up to the proctor's discretion whether to let you in or not. Assuming the picture still looks like you, you should be fine (unless the proctor is a major a-hole).
Don't take this as the gospel, but law school admissions is largely a numbers game. That being said, you don't need an impeccable GPA + impeccable LSAT to get in anywhere - you may just need one or the other.
Think of it this way, most law schools …
I run into the same issue. I think the main problem is complacency. You just kinda get bored after a while. I experienced that today and paid the price (-5 on RC )
I just rewatched J.Y.'s introduction to reading comp. video. I think it would be hel…
@BinghamtonDave That's really comforting to hear. I thought that PT 68's LG was inordinantely hard, especially the last game.
Thanks all for your replies. Perhaps all I need is an adjustment period, and chock up these performances as anomalous. Sti…
Do you all think that the modern games are generally more frontloaded? As in you are able to make more inferences in your game board, and less able to just get information from the questions, apply rules, and get the right answers?
Just took a PT and missed a super easy argument part question because I didn't read through the answer choices...Would have gotten a perfect score on that section otherwise
Hubris. HUBRIS.
For could be true questions, I think you have to just brute through unless there are some inferences in your diagram limiting where things can go .
For must be true questions, I just draw out a hypothetical without really considering the ACs.
For …
