hey I think you might benefit from switching up the material. i started off using one method and my score barely improved over 2-3 months. took a break and started with something else and saw immediate improvements. had another stall (although score…
I saw additional improvements but the most drastic improvements came after I finished the curriculum. I did continuously refer back to the lessons though so don't stop going over them even after you are done the first time, a lot of stuff took longe…
I didn't start PTing until after I finished the curriculum, saw a 14 point jump on first PT compared to diagnostic. I'd suggest finishing the curriculum before jumping into PTs, otherwise you may be wasting good PT material.
Which section are we talking about? For RC, if I can't narrow it down to 2 choices within 90 seconds I move on immediately. LG, pretty much only skip on the rule switch question if I can't solve it within 2 minutes. LR, this is kinda tricky, I can u…
Props man! I also studied while working but my work is stationary; I can't imagine trying to study while working as a consultant.. congrats and good luck!
I think if you do some drilling (1-2 sections) at the end of the day (when you are already exhausted), it might help. Learn when you are mentally fresh, and practice when you are mentally tired.
hey man sorry to hear that; this test was pretty difficult for a lot of people, i think the question type frequency really screwed some people over, especially in LR, i think you have a pretty good base to improve upon for a retake. good luck!
One of my professors and I talked a lot about law school and she is encouraging me to apply and said it was an awesome experience/investment for her. She got her JD/PhD from H (where I have 0% chance even with a 180) so that is something to consider…
@"J.H. Song" as far as I know the T14 refers to schools that are or were at one time in the top 10. UT was actually ranked 14th one time but it was not called a T14 since it was never in the top 10.
@Tankstin I think this may be due to question type prevalence cooperating with your strengths. I found certain LR types to be really underrepresented or completely missing on this test while others were over represented. RC was typical (IMO) and LG …
You don't need to go to a T14 for BigLol job, and even T14 grads strike out. But generally speaking your chances increase as the school's rank gets closer to 0.
Didn't find the game particularly difficult except for the last Q; had to go back and narrowed it down to 3 choices but had to guess due to time running out. I think that was the only LG Q I had issues with.
I think you should contact each school you are considering for ED about this. AFAIK most schools are OK with this as long as the ED apps are not simultaneous, but I've heard that some schools do not allow any other ED apps at all, even if you have y…
@Pacifico i understand its not a direction comparison but seeing how PT numbers factor in FT ranking its in the applicant's best interest not to be too far off from the FT numbers. I am not sure how firms/institutions gauge PT programs but if they a…
I think the biggest hurdle is getting into a high-ranking school with a part-time program. GT is the only T14 school with a PT program, but it also accepts less than 5% of PT applicants. Next up you have GWU (T20?), I have a friend that attends thei…
169...missed my goal by one point and not too happy right now. first cold was was 152 and averaging 168.8 on last 5 PTs leading up to this. debating retake...
