I had the same score as my June take and still cancelled. It won’t look bad. From what I understand, a single cancel is pretty common.
Really!? Well I'm happy you performed as well…
I think it's just important to get the context right. Simply reading the line by itself can cause trouble. I typically look at the information a couple lines before the line reference.
But sometimes a line might include referential phrasing, so f…
I don’t want to tell you wants possible or not, but I can tell you that going from a 132-148 is likely waaay easier than going from a 148-160. That being said, I don’t think it’s a reasonable expectation to set for yourself. Even November seems li…
Go on a walk without your phone! And try not to think about everything you have to improve on. Think about one section at a time. If you focus on single problem areas improvement seems far more attainable.
I just create a problem set out of the extra section I want to use and do that before I start the 4 section PT. It's pretty seamless. Takes about 20 seconds to go from the completed "problem set" section to the PT.
Some others have said this but I figured I’d throw in some advice too. 163 is a pretty normal score for someone scoring in your range. You will likely need to get that score up if you want to feel confident about your chances at some of those scho…
I would redo the course! If you're not BRing at or above your target score then it's probably worth going over your fundamentals. Especially worth it to drill each LR question type.
I found using the scrap paper to be a waste of time. I'd experiment with it and see how it feels! In general, I think you should be able to retain the low res summary without writing it down. But I know some people still jot down a couple words s…

I had digital. I didn't love practicing on it, but I felt like I had more time on LR. Not worrying about incorrect bubbles relieved some stress and time anxiety!
This makes me think you should definitely retake. Maybe all you …

I’d probably take that score as a blessing from the lord and apply 😂. Probably wouldn’t risk Sept unless you somehow are averaging above a 167 now.
It definitely was a blessing haha.…
I recommend reading RC passages. Especially since you have ultimate+. Doing lots of passages will make understanding their structure, learning what details are important and breaking down the reasoning in RC passages much easier. Eventually, like …
I would say it’s possible you made a scantron error but it’s also possible you just had test anxiety. I feel like anything 5 points below your worst recent PT is very possible just from anxiety alone for some people (myself included). Best thing y…
Got the same result and cancelled mine. Hey man if you're confident you can do better then go for it! Lets put it this way... even something crazy happens the next time you take it and you know you underperformed again, you probably would want to r…
That was my impression too. I did a lot worse on my first PT in the 70/80s than what I was averaging and still can't seem to do better than -3 in an LR section in the 70/80s whereas this one was a 170 because I got -1 in one of the LR.
Yeah tha…
Congrats! I scored well above my average on that same PT. I personally found the 50s much easier than the 70/80s but to hit 170 in just 3 months is awesome! You’re killing it!
So what I've taken away from some admissions officers is that anything before Thanksgiving is considered "early". Applying in December should not hurt your application. Thats around the time when most people apply. Perhaps there's some incentive t…
I don’t pay retake scores any mind. There’s really no way of knowing what you retain or how the first take is helping you. For retakes I focus on questions I missed twice or if I went -0 on a section I focus on what helped. Usually for me what help…

Thanks for the advice @"Pride Only Hurts" !! When you say you FP twice, does that mean you did all 140 games 2x each or you did all 140 games anywhere from 7-14x each?? How many months did this take you and about how mu…
I foolproofed 1-35 twice before I was comfortably going -3 or better. Some people only need to do it once and can consistently go -0! Depends on the person. If you have something you struggle with like misreading rules, timing, or general test anx…
I suppose you can use the new problem set feature to retake a test! I might go that route. It will still give you the same timing breakdown (won’t show trends though). But it won’t delete your pt data.
Speed comes with mastery of the fundamentals. How fast can you isolate the parts of the argument? How fast can you find the flaw in the reasoning. Once you’re pretty good at that, the next step is mastery of question types. Good fundamentals alone…
Yeah I don’t think she meant to imply that there was a penalty or that it was mandatory to have at least one employer LOR. I think she was referring to instances where applicants have difficulty getting an academic LOR because they’ve been out of s…
