Completely agree - reading questions first is a time sink. Only do it like @VegMeg55 says, to note specific lines to look out for.
One thing I really like about the Trainer is that it categorizes RC question types. I you master the question types,…
I prefer 7Sage. JY fosters a respectful atmosphere where even people who score crazy high like JY are humble and empathetic. Fox's podcasts are kind of smug, some good material but not earth shattering.
Hey @VegMeg55 Thanks for the response - the only thing I'd say is no need to "lightly underline" - literally just run your pencil over without touching.
It's not necessarily bad to "lightly" underline, but not necessary and the added "drag" mig…
Use your Pencil to guide your reading - really helps!
JY does it for RC passages if you look at him doing LSAT 70.
But don't just do this for passages - do it for everything - games, LR, reading answer choices...
Helps with Speed AND Accuracy
The LSAT Trainer Book makes a BIG difference for reading comp.
In addition to mapping, this teaches about Question types (which is underrated).
The book is well worth the $

Hard to tell. I find myself remembering questions and I think the familiarity provide a leg up and a level of comfort. Sometimes I try to compensate by reducing time allowed in each section.
I do circle on test booklet already. I bubble in groups (by game, passage, and 1-2 pages for LR).
I realize this specific instance was bubbling by group in RC...
When I bubble in groups instead of doing it one-by-one within that group, I'll quick…
Thanks so much K-Magnet! I'll check it out
I appreciate what you wrote Derek, but I'm already doing that - I want to hone in on question types to take my RC scores to the next level.
Thanks!
Thanks to your help I think i now found a simple way to confirm correct choices - Raph would STILL disagree with B and Edward would agree (simple, I know), but that's what it comes down to!
Yup 70. It's easy to overlook because the video is embedded at the bottom but well worth watching if you're looking for subtle hints at maximizing your technique.
Blind Review really helps me with Skipping - BR has helped me develop an intuitive sense of the types of questions that I'm unsure of, are difficult or take a lot of time.
Are you BRing already kristineleewilliams?
Don't do it. Mine is a POS. Just get the casio watch with a bezel to mark 35 and keep resetting hand to 12:00 (it takes a second to do):

Great Question -Burstei6
Is there a way to submit applications now without schools seeing my Sept Score - and only seeing my LSAT Scores when December becomes available?
I ask this because I've heard horror stories about students submitting and as…
@lsathopeful you're absolutely right about how circling for uncertainty helps on a test/pt. It's given me a firm idea of what questions to skip (and ideally come back to at the end).
Great points K-Magnet - all the benefits of full blind review ar…
I agree @turnercm...
The only reason I bring this alternative up is because I'm at the point where I get so few wrong that I almost force myself to circle way more than I need to.
Thanks for your kind words @K-Magnet
I want to add 3 things:
1) What I shared works for me. I think it would work for you, but after a process of trial and error only you can determine that.
2) The process you are in now of trying different thi…
I've gotten -0 before.
I definitely recommend focusing on the main point for every paragraph and marking any time you see a hint of the author's Point of View.
And this is very important - you don't need to leave the passage with everything - jus…
I don't know if LSAC does that - hell, I don't think they'd do anything that might help in some way....
But, if it helps, here's my take on LR - it's worth expecting an overall increase as LR progresses, BUT it's like a roller coaster where there …
Blind Review all preptests you take. If you're not sure how it works, review the 7Sage Videos on it.
I swear by this method:
- It forces you to think through problems in a way you can't by just checking the answers and "thinking you know why …
