I don't know that I really "want" to be a lawyer. I would probably prefer a career in finance, but for many reasons that's not practical for me. I think becoming a lawyer is a practical occupation that matches my skills we…
Is your goal score the same as the target score you achieved on your 6th PT? If not, then I think most would agree that you should postpone until you are consistently getting your goal score on PTs.
If your goal score is your target score, and you …

For flaw questions my best advice is be extremely strict when assessing how each answer choice bears on the argument. On newer tests my impression is that they like to put attractive sounding but irrelevant answer choices in amongst a cleverly disgu…
For LR if I read the stimulus and just don't get the argument - mostly due to long, heavy grammar, or due to some irritatingly bad arguments - I don't even bother reading the answer choices, I skip it and come back to it. My reasoning is that the an…
Taking the week off work. This almost goes without saying.
As for how I'll spend my time... day before the test I will travel down to the city, scope out the venue, eat a nice meal and relax (go see a film, go to a gallery). The week before I plan …
@"Paul Caint" I did a quick Google search and found this:

Also, while the U.S. Census Bureau's understanding of the definition of "Hispanic" is those Latin American countries or other countries that speak Spanish, others define it as those countries that were colonized by Spain an…
As a fellow Dylan obsessive I too liked reading this. I know this is something others have talked about on the forums, but I wonder if over-thinking is what is going on when some experience a slight dip in their scores after first completing the CC.…
In my non-professional opinion, it's probably only a very small soft factor in admissions, bordering on insignificant (in the grand scheme of things). There are so many student societies around that I don't imagine it's particularly uncommon either.…

I am from India - where we have 1st class, second class and 3rd class classification of grades. 1st class = 2:1 of UK, 2nd class 2:2 etc. One more question - will LSAC automatically distribute my transcripts to US law sch…

Nope we don't have a GPA system. Purely a percentage affair. So candidates like me will have no LSDAS GPA, is that right?
Yes, I believe so.
Given the extent to which law schools claim to value a diverse student body I am sure any given person would not be alone in whatever political belief they held at law school (aside for some obvious extremes).
Just a heads up - I don't think the LSAC calculates a GPA from your international transcripts unless your college already uses a US grading system. They didn't for mine at least. But yes you can submit them whenever you'd like.
For me NA really clicked when I grasped J.Y.'s point that NA answer choices are often extremely weak claims. I feel this gives you the edge with them in terms of speed.
Having a really good grasp on the strategy you need to employ for each question type helped me with overall speed.
A good example of this was my improvement on Main Conclusion/Main Point questions. For those questions I would spend too much time re…

Hey! My UK degree transcripts have been processed by the LSAC and they were not converted to a US-style GPA, even though my institution provides letter grade equivalents. I was told by one T14 school that with a UK degree the LSAT score will carry a…

I'd venture to say that the best predictive value of the LSAT would be from a cold diagnostic. Hard to see how getting a good score on LSAT b/c of intensive prep, for example foo-proofing games, would be indicative of aptitude.…
Don't know how much this helps, but for the longest time I thought the LSAC was going to convert my UK grades in to a US-style GPA. However, all my transcripts have now been processed and I'm told that since it's a foreign transcript they simply don…
I don't think this will always be the structure of correct answers for Strengthen questions, and I don't think the overall strategy works in reverse. But eliminating a potential weakness with the argument will always strengthen an argument.
