So I have been off the discussion forum for the most part while I was going through the CC but now I am ready to jump in and get some advice. I have been very embarrassed of my PT scores but I’ve realized I cannot improve if I …

Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone has tips for LG on finding the floaters when you're just hit with a bunch of game pieces, usually like 8+ and then a bunch of rules that may or may not have mentioned these pieces. I kno…
I think JY is writing it down for explanation purposes. I wouldn't do it under time, unless it happens to be one of the few questions at the end that you circled and you decide out of all of them, this is the one you can get correct the fastest.
If…
Hey,
One, is to watch JY's explanations. Make sure that you go beyond just listening and think about carrying lessons to the next similar question you come across.: )
I would also do a concise summary of the argument and try to find similar argum…
Yeah sure. I think a bit of it is experience in realizing how a passage unfolds. For example,
If the passage is about a phenomena the RC passage is trying to explain and I am having trouble understanding the phenomena or the different hypothesis t…

Hey everyone,
I'm taking a step back and redoing the CC. When I first did it, I went through it too fast to internalize what I learned.
After abandoning the LSAT for a while, I've decided to come back strong for on…

I have noticed that one of my biggest issues is the time it takes me to do an initial set up for a game. For example, on a target 9 minute game I will literally spend 4 minutes setting up the game and still realize tha…

So after finishing through the CC I took my a practice test about a week ago and was very pleased with a score of 171. Since then I took three more practice tests and have seen steady decreases in each PT. 168, 167, and most re…
I know this isn't helpful -I have Headspace, but I am terrible about using it. I do intend to get back into it. So hopefully, you and I could both discover this together.

Thank you so much! I will keep your tips in mind during my next RC drill. Do you have any specific sections from specific PT's you recommend?
Since this is an RC procedure, it is the same for all passages. As you are …

I know there are so many threads on how to squash RC on here. But I really feel like I'm a rare case of someone who sucks harder than average at RC. Like oh my god. Every PT I take, I go -0-3 on each section. Then RC roll…

I genuinely appreciate your input Sami. In the coming days, I will try to be implement these strategies. Rereading and rereading is a mistake I’m guilty of.

The timing is problematic because it indicates either you are spending too long on the passage or getting caught up…

It depends. Do you think you are taking a long time because you don't have a good understanding of stimulus? This is usually evident when you go through answer choices and you find that the understanding from the stimulus was not in fact adequate to…

You have an amazing GPA. I think you should keep studying and re-take LSAT when you start scoring your goal score. You can have some amazing options available to you.

could it be possible that given that they rushed the scores the grading was off or something?
There is always room for error but I don't think its likely.

Here is an example of a breakdown of one of the RC passages I did awhile back.
I wouldn't do the high resolution under time and would focus on low resolution, connect/tie back, and main point of the passage instead.
