Yes I time myself whenever I am doing questions. I personally feel that I need to always incorporate time to keep me on my feet. That way it always feels as close to test day conditions as possible.

Whooooop!!! Class of '16! I have not taken it yet. I was hoping for September but that may be in question for me since I am not where I was hoping to be but I appreciate the wishes! Always glad to see more Aggies on here haha!
When were you plannin…
@"Alex Divine" Ah I see what you mean now. Yes, my success rate has gone up when I have shown discipline and marked up my stimulus and focused on the core parts. Not super consistent yet but I have seen the benefits.
@LSATcantwin I really like that…
@"Alex Divine" So you do not mess with the premises first but rather the conclusion?
@Freddy_D That is literally me right now haha. I know one of my biggest issues is going through the stimulus carefully and gaining an exceptional understanding so …
@"Alex Divine" I agree. I was slightly thinking ahead with summer internships and trying to maybe have an extra card up my sleeve showing that I have had previous legal experience.
@"david.busis" Thank you for your input. That makes me feel a lot b…

I'm really having trouble thinking of anyone on here or TLS who majorly underperformed their numbers due to lack of a certain type of work background.
What do you mean by under-performed your numbers? Is this law schoo…
Thanks for the advice everyone! I really appreciate your input; not the easiest decision to make. I definitely feel better now about pushing back if it comes to it. I hate kicking the can down the road again but it is not necessarily a bad thing if …
Thanks @"Alex Divine" @JustDoIt I am a bit nervous waiting a cycle because I don't know how that would affect my chances with admissions since I'd be out of school for a while amd don't have a "big boy job."
@JustDoIt you are right about the CC. Ne…
Thanks @JustDoIt I really appreciate the encouragement. I will say, this is my second time through this rodeo and I have re-visited the questions in the CC quite a bit and remember the a lot of the answers so I am a bit worried this will alter my re…
I'd like to see if there is a possibility with September still. I'm very iffy with December and wouldn't take it beyond that in the current cycle.
Like I said I'm pretty far off on my target score (over 15 pts). I feel like there are plenty of thin…
I'm sort of in the same boat. I transferred from a smaller university to a large state school. I don't remember my GPA from my first school (haven't put them into CAS yet) but I got a 3.6 with honors at my graduating institution.
I know my first sc…

@"Alex Divine" Yeah when I transferred to A&M, I had too many credits to get into the business school so I went Poli-sci which was a blessing because I found law/politics fascinating (which is one of the other law diciplines I'm considering) so …
@"Alex Divine" I originally was a management major but felt like I could never find my nitch in business so corporate/business law seems like where my fit may possibly be. I did pretty well in my business law class and felt pretty comfortable with w…
@"Alex Divine" I apologize if this has been explained already, but what generally do corporate attorneys do (I know this is a broad question so its ok if you give me a brief answer)?
I'm very curious about corporate law, but have no experience in i…
Out of curiosity, can law schools view any part of your profile if you already have the privacy settings up pretty high? I only use facebook and have nothing to hide but naturally keep mine pretty private if you are not my friend.
@thisissparta the rankings are different than the US News ranking. ATL weighs sallary and employment opportunities the most.
I feel that these are one of the best methodologies since it weighs what is the most important: Can you get a secure, long-…

Take a bunch of old parallel/parallel flaw questions and see if you can crate an analogy for each answer choice with the stimulus. If its a bad analogy, see what needs to be added to make it better. Try seeing parallel questions …
@JustDoIt @"Alex Divine" @Daniel.Sieradzki @fmihalic2 Thanks for the imputs! I have been hovering around 1:20-1:30 for the 4-star ones so far. Accuracy has been hit or miss (still learning how to do them better) but at least I know now my pace isn't…
@Mellow_Z Thanks! I'm going to try and re-work my work schedule to accommodate this group. It would definitely force me to maintain pace for myself and I really want to interact with others more and see their perspectives on everything. I won't make…
That makes sense. I've thought about whether I would skip these on the first pass since they are typically larger than other LR questions. But I can see if they appear early on they may be on the easier side and worth the time.
