I agree with 99th. If you think your optional statement could really help you, then just wait until you write up a good one to submit.
And from the few schools I've seen so far (and this may be across most, if not all schools) is that they are on h…
I say just check it.. if you bombed then you can leave that shit in 2017 (well, you know what I mean, haha), if you did good then you finish 2017 with a bang!
I had a similar situation when I freaked out my first 2 takes if I'm being honest. No it won't run your chances at getting into top schools, although Yale has been known to care about multiple scores. Other schools don't though. You'll be fine.
I feel that if you have concrete reasons as to why you want to go to a certain school, writing an optional essay won't be hard or take too long. Especially once you have a general structure of writing a why X essay, it should be faster to write more…

Not everyone on TLS is an asshole. You guys can figure out who's who if you really care to. There is a lot of useful information on there. Anecdotes may not always be useful indicators of anything, but sometimes they can be…
Relax the day before. There's no need to cram because by the day before the test, what you know is what you know, and what you don't is what you don't. You won't make any appreciable gains the day before.
I advocate for relaxing the day before!
Like LSATcantwin said, it really just depends.
Although I post a lot and am on TLS a lot, I'm a strong believer in people just doing whatever they want, they're adults, BUT being aware of their decisions based on finances, goals, among other things…
I agree with Alex. If you get a higher score from the feb test, you may have a higher chance of getting off the WL. I've heard of people using the June test for such a thing too (but more so for scholarship negotiations). But I'd say the feb test ov…

Also, I'm a little confused why none of the articles I've read have mentioned the Senate since they have to debate and vote on it as well in order for it to become law. A bill goes from the House to the Senate so maybe that is…
I'm working on all of my Why X essays and my DS. It's kept my mind off of gray day for the most part. oh, and video games, lots and lots and lots of video games.

I'm reading the US news article and it says that the Prosper Act's ONE Loan program is going to kick in 2024. So for those who are applying to law school soon, this shouldn't be an issue. However, the future generatio…

Your P.S. is supposed to tell schools why you want to go to law school, and also how your life experiences have brought you to the point in your life where you want to go to law school.
Nah I don't think that necessarily …
I think they are both great options. The 2nd option seems well-suited to be a personal statement topic as well, imo!
I think trying out both topics and having 1 be your PS and the other be your DS could work! Other thoughts on this are welcome, but…

TL;DR: Ask the school if they hold applications. If they do, turn it in ASAP because that school may review in order of date of submission like UCB does.
I agree with this, OP.

This is not true. I would disregard this advice @HereisSara, because in January, schools review applications based on the confirmation time/date that they were submitted, even if no one was in the office when it arrived.…
Application stuff when it comes to movement should be slowing down soon before the holidays (per spivey's twitter). So I say just wait for your December score since there would be no point in submitting right now since the likelihood of anything hap…
