Developing a strict process/approach for RC has saved my sanity a bit although I can't say how much it's helped my score - but I'll share anyway in case it helps you. After going through the Trainer I've decided to 1. read the passage only for the o…
I picked up the Trainer and I think it and my terrible experience in Sept. really helped me change my mindset. I was pting, drilling, BRing before the Sept test and seeing little stable progress, although I kept convincing myself that my study strat…
It might be different if the schools with health programs you're looking into have really strong local connections and you want to work locally. Then I could see how focusing on those schools might actually be more beneficial than trying to get into…
You may want to try meditation. A lot of people on here say how much it helps them and I don't see how it could hurt, it might be just what you need to get in the right headspace on test day. I think I didn't factor in how much my mentality could/wo…
@akriegler i agree and would love to work together. I'm not in the November group because I unfortunately worked through all the latest tests thinking that Sept. was my only shot (currently 8 months pregnant). I plan to redo these later though. I'm …
I'm in the exact same boat, I feel the same exact way about each section (run out of time on RC, thought I was good with LG until the test came, fine with LR) and cancelled my score due to a terrible experience at my test center. I've also been on a…
Based off your scores I think you should target LG for now. It looks like that alone will get you to your desired score range. I had a similar actual v. BR score breakdown for LG and I just took timed sections and eventually closed that gap
She should contact the local bar association, they usually have a referral system (esp. for employment attorneys) where she can get matched with one for a consultation
Make sure you don't stop reviewing after each timed section. I was having the same issue but I eventually realized that I my problem was that I was running out of time for every single section. Then worrying about not having enough time to finish ma…
I felt exactly like this the week before last. I stopped taking pts and just did 3-4 LG sections per day for a few days and my speed greatly improved. If you have the basics down, drilling whole sections should help you overcome the timing issue. I …
I agree with what was said above. Doing timed sections and doing everything with a bubble sheet has helped me to inch (slowly) closer to my high 170s BR scores. I would suggest NOT doing more than 1 pt a week before you see significant progress/noti…
Maybe you can try taking 5 or so deep breaths before starting the 1st section once you see that it's RC. If you're going to do RC sections 1st from now on hopefully you will get used to it and eventually may not need to do this anymore, but it may h…
Its definitely possible in my opinion. I'd advise you to take a weekend or a day off, use next week to drill the sections you're having a tough time with, then PT at the end of the week to check in. I had almost 9 straight 160s for pts all across th…
Thanks @Alex, watching live takes is something I didn't really think I would benefit from originally but now I'm definitely going to try it because I work better with a process that I can recall and implement every time so hopefully watching them wi…
I don't actually think it improved my accuracy, I started off doing okay at RC though, so that might just be a personal thing. But, I did emphasize what I would have notated in my head instead of marking it on the passage itself so you can try that …
I'm in the same boat. Taking too long to go through the passages, not having enough time for the last one. I tried the summaries and Nicole's annotation system but those made me take longer. I decided to stop writing anything down (not even underlin…
I agree with @"Leah M B" about sticking to timed sections as opposed to full pts for now (as well as her recommendations for cheap self study guides/the 7sage starter pack). To comment on the mindset of your differences in scores I can definitely r…
I also double majored in cognitive science and chose "interdisciplinary-other", it looks and feels weird but I didn't want to miscategorize the major. Schools might see your university transcripts that list out your majors? Not sure but that's what …
@mariev22 I'm in the bay area and would love to form a study group/hardcore boot camp to prepare for Sept! My BR score is in the range of my target score, I just need to get my actual score in that range as well. Feel free to message me, that goes f…
I'm in the same boat - with consistent gap across the 3 pts I've taken and almost exact same section breakdowns. Would love to hear any advice! My plan is to work on more timed section drills because I feel like timing is my biggest issue, but I pla…
@LivingThatLSATdream ahh thank you I'm going to see if that helps while I'm studying/taking pts too! @"rebecca.liujing" yes my fear is not getting everything in on time especially if they ask for supplemental docs, definitely going to start asap
