Maybe check out Pepperdine. I haven’t really looked into them but the flyer I got from them in the mail said “entertainment law” really big. Seems like they’re marketing themselves to people who want to work in entertainment.
I work a similar schedule and I have been studying 2-4hrs every evening and then ~6 hours each weekend day. I think 2-3 hours after work is more realistic as 4 hours really exhausts me the next day. I suggest writing out a schedule and sticking to i…
I'm pretty bummed at the 12:30 pm test time for July! I took the June 2017 exam and I didn't get home until 8pm after the exam. The exam didn't start until well after 2pm bc it took so long to search everyone and get everyone seated. I was hoping fo…
@akistotle I don't think there's anything wrong with the entire Tenderloin area. That's why i didn't take all the Hastings' horror stories seriously and figured it was just people being judgmental. If you go up the street away from civic center and …
Don’t list baby sitting as a “job” if you were paid under the table. ie if someone just handed you cash and you didn’t pay taxes on it. If you want to include it maybe just list “childcare” in your interests.
I second Hastings being a hard no. I was super disappointed after just walking by the campus. I’ve hung out in areas with a lot of gang violence etc but nothing compares to how weird that area felt. I have friends who live on that same street a few …
@"Seeking Perfection" thank you for your response. LG I'm not too worried about as I pacifico foolproofed PT 1-25 (leaving some for after I finish redoing the CC) and feel pretty confident with LGs now. What was your technique to mastering LR prior …
There's usually a section to list awards on the apps. You can include whatever you want in your resume. And write about it in your personal statement.
Focus on studying for the LSAT.
I have a family member with an M.D. who spent a very long time looking over the first question of a medium level logic game and he got the answer wrong. I've thrown some LR questions to my frined with a PHD in linguistics and she struggled. I think …
Your gpa is more important and will never change once you graduate. Focus on that. Study here and there until you graduate, I suggest just doing LG until then, and then really dive into studying after graduating. If you’re hitting 170+ before Novemb…

I dont see anything wrong with including dean's list and just keep your interests to two lines maximum
Usually law schools describe their application process on their website. An app may go thru 2 separate admissions committees before a final decision is made.
@"Alex Divine" as my background is in philosophy and I already actively read about history/politics regularly, I've been looking for science podcasts . Listening to a radiolab podcast on multiverse theory led me to this:

@stepharizona thank you for sharing that info. I only applied to one t12 as my last LSAT score sucked. Maybe if I'm waitlisted I'll take the June LSAT to try to get off WL.
I suggest just writing a general personal statement about the adversity you've overcome first and weave in bits about law school after. It doesnt have to be a very literal and direct connection. ie overcoming this adversity has made me a [character …
I was apart of the hiring process at the law firm I worked at and if I saw that I wouldn't pass the resume on to the attorneys. It makes you seem immature. Law school apps arent a joke. If you want to be personable you can include that you collect s…
I didnt do it for pepperdine and I just got accepted with 25k/year from them (: not going to go there but it's a nice lil confidence boost and makes me realize this is all just a numbers game and i need to get my lsat score up
I would recommend it. You never know what might get thrown at you, not everything's gonna be a cookie cutter game. Being able to handle weird games can only benefit you.
