Ah okay, do you think I should be asking all my recommenders to do that for every school then?
If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't ask them to do it (unless they volunteer to do so).
Yea…
If they’re willing to do that for a few of your top choices that’s very nice of them and I would take them up on that. It might help your app by like 1% and wouldn’t hurt so why not. Ask them to write a generic lor for all schools first.
Chug a couple bottles of water a couple hours before the lsat and sip a little water before the test and pee right before and you’ll be fine. I drank a tiny bit of water in line before the lsat and I regretted it bc I kind of had to pee as soon as I…
Personally I wouldn’t bring a parent along for the entire ASW because I don’t think I can properly assess anything while someone else is in my ear the whole time. I would also want to feel comfortable socializing with others without worrying about h…
unless the school’s ED comes with money then as far as I know you might not know if you get any scholarship money for a while. It’s also not a “possible” financial aid package, you don’t get to negotiate with them for more money.
If you can’t affo…
Yeah I also got vertigo and heart burn a couple weeks after the lsat which both can be caused by stress. Just make sure to maintain a work out regimen and stretch a lot and do yoga. I went from working out 5 days a week to working out maybe once dur…
Holy shit I did it!! The questions weren’t too tough.
I hope I didn’t seem over confident. I really prepared for this and tried to give really up-beat answers and tried to speak really slowly and coherently.
TLS has a guide somewhere. 7sage admissions does too I think. I really doubt the professors will allow you to write the letter for them. Just send them your transcript, resume, personal statement, any papers you wrote for the class, to remind them o…
Yes and it was fine. I liked that I had a lot of desk space since they were large cafeteria style desks. I’m not sure why you would stay at the hotel if you live so close. I personally don’t sleep well in hotels.

I would call the school and not worry about it at all (easier said than done, I know). I guarantee this has happened before and its not a new thing to them. At worst, it will be very obvious when they go to watch the video …
I am so bummed I spent all day preparing for the interview and did my hair and everything and the first question the sound went out and then my internet stopped working and now my internet is fine but the interview isn’t giving me the option to star…
I’ve spoken to adcomms/deans from NYU, Chicago, Stanford, and Cornell, and I don’t remember which of them but one of them mentioned that if you want to do a dual degree, their grad school won’t require a GRE score. Take some easy classes and bump up…
I think the general consensus for supplementary essays which don’t have a page length requirement is 1-2. I aim for 1 page but if it ends up being a few sentences into the 2nd page then that’s fine. I think it would be a little odd to have a full 2 …
@"Leah M B" I haven’t done the interview yet, I’m aiming to do it this Saturday. You still got into Cornell tho so you couldn’t have bombed it too badly!!

I think it's a standard interview question that tests how you handle stress and problem solving. You can definitely say you would google it, but you should probably follow up with a method that doesn't include google. These…

I think you should be prepared to answer these questions: Why law? Why Northwestern?
Other than those two, I think it's all random.
I’m preparing for every q I’ve found on TLS and reddit lol. These are hard. Even just “…

Fun Fact: I used to get paid to predict revenues for grocery items like mayonnaise.
You’re gonna crush it in law school!!!
Lord these questions hurt - tell us about a time you motivated change in your community…

because price increases could reduce total sales units without reducing revenues etc.
I truly don’t know what that means they don’t teach philosophy majors or paralegals that lololol

I don’t see what creativity and reasoning can be used for accounting when we have pre existing technology for that.
