It definitely varies per person... Find out what your goal is, and write as many prep-tests as it takes for you to reach this goal. Many advise a minimum of 10 full LSAT prep-tests under timed condition, but again, that varies per individual.

I would say if you don't feel prepared, move it for December. For Canadian Law Schools the final exam that they consider is the February LSAT. They do suggest writing it no later than December though.
