Diagramming this question may not cost you any time and may even save time, so whatever works. The last sentence ends up being a throw away, and you might be tempted to try to connect it to the 2nd premise if you tried to just intuit the answer. Dia…
@nicole.hopkins's explanation is really thorough and great, so I'll only add some insight into my thought process for this question that may help you. Personally, I answered this question in 30 seconds, maybe less, and this is how I did it:

This is a question that you actually stand to gain by diagramming it. First of all, this is a sufficient assumption question, not a NA, so our task is a little different. We are looking for an answer that would allow us to properly infer the conclus…
First, diagramming this question may not be the best way to get the right answer. The author jumps from donors feeling less of an emotional connection by not having the opportunity to vote to increasing the amount of money by giving donors the right…

For PT 3, S2, #3:
A can be diagrammed as "C-->MPFBC", that is "if you are a child, then you can be made physically fit by daily calisthenics." This does have an indicator: the word "all." All introduces the sufficient condition; for example, "A…

@jyang72 just approach those similar to an LR question: look for reasons why the choices you didn't select are incorrect for those questions, and provide reasoning why the choice you are selecting is correct. That should suffice.
@jyang72 first off, congrats on the 172 BR; that's really good work and you shouldn't diminish it at all. The LSAT is tough--celebrate each small win that you get and always keep your mind right.
If you are asking how get your BR even higher, just…
True Life: My enjoyment for writing explanations to LR questions on the forums is either wildly emotional or excessively impractical (but which one?....)
So we are looking for a principle that would support the husband's argument about keeping the painting in the family, and the support he gives is that his wife owes it to their daughter to keep it in th family as a link to her fam's past.

@esteerose @nicole.hopkins PDFs are also available on everylsat for a couple dollars cheaper than Cambridge. And the site does have a disclaimer that says they are used with the permission of LSAC.
Yea, some answer choices will be good arguments, which you can eliminate immediately on PFR questions. I would argue that a good argument could never parallel the logic of a flawed argument, but that may be a little nit-picky because I understand ex…

@nicole.hopkins yea for sure! I also kinda like mapping games because a lot of the times the give you a picture of the game board in the rules. The snowplow, oil paintings, park light games! Fun stuff lol
Totally agree with everything that's been said here. The 40s-60s are just as relevant to today's test, except for the fact that there is no comparative reading comp. I would not shy away from doing these tests at all.

You build an awareness of the rules and how they relate to each other as you practice. Initially you may have trouble keeping it all together, but it is definitely a skill you can improve on. Just he sure to clearly write your rules on your main dia…
The problem with A, in my opinion, is that it does not discuss international law. Obeying a command is very broad, and the fact that some people may obey a command even without mechanisms to compel obedience, does not destroy the argument. Think of …
This is actually my favorite type of question because it is so easy to eliminate incorrect answers once you know what you are looking for:
