On harder weaken questions, it is common for the correct answer to be not great... just the one that sucks the least.
Pam: residents' long hours impairs their decision making toward the end of their shifts
Quincy: tons of doctors trained this way,…
High cost limits opera availability.
If we reduce budgets so they can be supported by ticket sales and donations,
The public will be able to see less famous operas.
Weaken: why wouldn't the public be able to see less famous operas even though bud…

@canihazJD congratulations; I am so happy for you! GO YOU. Also, question: what is deep review?
Finding any excuse to review anything that gave you trouble on the PT. Getting as deep as possible into what's going on in that q…
The first sentence is fine by itself. I had to do this last cycle and just sent something like, "Please add the attached (x) to my application file. Thanks, canihazJD L01234567"
Ann: CW → TCHS
Bill: nope, TCHS ←s→ CL
Prephrase: Bill thought Ann said TCHS → CW (note: he responded with TCHS ←s→ /CW)
E. gives us that prephrase.
This is a weird question type you'll only find in the earlier tests. Good practice though.
Sorry that happened. This topic is near and dear to me—I underperformed on every actual test I took. Drops are not uncommon... in addition to the myriad of variables we bring to the test and the inherent difficulties of game day, sometimes you get j…
I'd stop taking PT's until you are done with the CC. Focus on understanding each lesson, then take, BR, and do a review of the problem sets. Jump between LR/RC/LG as necessary to change it up. There is no sense doing PTs until you have all the funda…
The general consensus is that this is going to be a far slower than normal cycle. The increased volume of applicants and high scores mean schools will wait for the pool to develop more before making the bulk of decisions. This seems to be reflected …

Congratz! Just out of curiosity, are you applying this cycle?
Thanks, and yes. Just sent in apps today. Was waiting o…
Apps in! Thanks all. Looking forward to continuing to contribute here. I still have this urge to keep going and try for a better score, but my 7sage consultant just told me no... and I think my wife might kill me. I'll just set that on the back burn…
D is the only one that's not comparative. Also...
B. I went with this answer choice, because of the sentence that said that Japan didn't have "technically qualified" people. I did question whether or not you needed to have qualified people in or…
Is doesn't need to be about socioeconomic hardship or being a URM. Can you write something meaningful that articulates how your experiences will allow you to contribute to the diversity of their class? If yes, then write one. If no, don't write on…
Minimal if any effect... but also the same for a lower score you don't cancel. Personally I'd advise against it unless something catastrophic happens like you don't get to do half a section.
It can be a good source of fee waivers (for some schools required for a merit waiver) but in my opinion not necessary if you already have a school list set and have/don't need more waivers. You will have to manually unsubscribe from each school when…

In addition to what @lsat2016 said about understanding... you also have to apply that mastery to the easy questions. That may mean not even looking at all the ACs on some, being confident in your selection, aggressively eliminating AC's two words i…
A lot of that could just be app farming. It's common to get moonshot app invites. That said I have seen people get "congrats on your 17x" emails while their score was being held for writing or fee waiver disputes, so it's not impossible.
It'd be worth explaining, but no, if you have a score a school wants it won't look bad. Especially with the flex, cancellations are far more common now.
I agree with @FaviPapi just learn the actual concept. On harder questions, the test will punish you for reliance on shortcuts. I found it better to do it that way, then you can see how those rules like "negate, sufficient" or "if not" work and can b…
