I am in a similar situation. Now, the highest-ranked school I have any interest in is Notre Dame and the others are schools like Wayne State, Michigan State, Chicago-Kent, Loyola, and Maurer. Granted, if I didn't have connections, I would be more h…
I thought the first LR section was moderately difficult (-4) and I changed my answers from the right to wrong on two of them. It could have something to do with how easy LG was. Personally, this was my 2ND best PT
I'd say that the more recent LG sections are by and large easier. If you want to challenge yourself take the Super Prep Tests and then you will have your answer
Northwestern is known to be splitter friendly which is what you would be. However, I knew someone who only had a 2.9 GPA and got a 166 on the LSAT and was accepted into Georgetown. I believe most law schools weigh the LSAT significantly more than t…
I agree with @"Alex Divine" on this. However, despite what some might say, a month is plenty of time if you truly buckle down to improve your score. In just two and a half months, I have jumped 20 points and I would like to move a few more. Ultimate…
@David3389, I am not sure if you are familiar with power scores diagramming techniques but knowing a quick way to draw up a diagram and precede without wasting anytime was incredibly helpful. I spent a solid couple weeks just drilling pattern games …
@"Alex Divine" it's certainly worth it. Practice is still the best way to improve but just having a firm understanding makes it a lot easier. The negation technique for Assumption questions is a technique that everyone can benefit from. It essential…
Thank you! I'm not uncomfortable with most Grouping Games but with that said, I still prefer linear games. Combination Games are still somewhat foreign for me
I know that some people will disagree but Power Score's Logical Reasoning Bible has done wonders for me. I started off -10 and now, I am consistently around -4. This change has come from a month of using the bible and I still have 2 months until tes…
That's helpful. I'll dedicate more time to pick them up because I have found that they're not particularly difficult but they are more time consuming. The last thing that I want is to be short on time.
The plus is that I haven't even looked at the grouping games in the LGB and I still have a decent amount to go over. Everyone is different and what works for one person might not work for another. You can say that 30 hours is a lot but it is all rel…
Another thing to keep in mind is that it is different for everyone. What works for me might not work for @mcmlaw36 or vice versa, at the end of the day it depends on the individual, no mold fits all.
Some elite law schools do not take the February scores which is what you would take if you were not pleased with your December score. It also depends on what year you are in. If you are a senior, I would recommend taking it in September but if you a…
LSAC sells them and I know it sounds surprising but Amazon has a very wide variety. You can even go to your university library and see if they have any.
Well I am a senior and Maurer and Notre Dame are my target schools. A 166 gets me in pretty easily and my fall back schools like Chicago-Kent, Loyola, and Michigan State will take me with a 160. Plus if I am not happy with my September score, I can …
December is too long of a deadline. It also puts me in a corner. 30 hours a week for 10 weeks should at least get me to about a 162. I'm too elite. I never mentioned postponing it. 158 at this point is 8 points away from my goal, why would I postpon…
My point about taking a year in a half is that it isn't applicable to real life. You don't get an entire year to study for something, in the real world. Yes the exam is scored relative to how others do but the scores don't change that much on a year…
With a 160 being the worst case scenario, there is no reason to wait, if I am not satisfied I will just retake it. I've already improved on the Logic Games and today when I did did a practice LR I went 20-26. I can only see it getting better.
